Whenever one of you receive the new SX Mini with the new Q chip I would like to be included regarding how it performs especially if you have a mod with the older chip. I am looking at a few new mods and I know if I wait I can get this chip so at this point it's worth waiting and buying it once I know if there is a real difference and how much does it enhance your vaping experience....DG

I totally I knew this setup would be ground-breaking after using sx mini ml... All it really needed was two batteries and now we'll have it! I can't wait to get my all day vape on with the Q! I pre ordered the brown but it looks like even after market panels could be made to change the color! This mod is going to be the bomb I'm convinced!
So the larger form factor doesn't bother you guys? I don't have a device with the yihi chip and I do want to own one eventually because I like the screen layout (better than DNA imho and what it has to offer) but the SX Q is just big, its like the size of the original snow wolf.
Honestly yes it DOES bother me, it bothers me much.
I love my SX mini M, I love the Yihi chip, I like it much more then the DNA 200 chip, but I fully agree with you.
And I am already looking forward and waiting for the Q for months, but now I really doubt to buy it..
The size surprised me when I first seen it next to a ML but I don't know if it will bother me until I hold it in my hand.
If the size bugs you that much, just don't buy one. As far as I can see there really is nothing new,

What were you expecting? the SX mini isn't really that small, there are plenty of single 18650 mods that are way smaller.
I think I heard from a reviewer stating that at TC this mod can only power up to 150J or lesser. Is this correct? I am still confused with this Joules vs Watt thing!
One thing that Mike said in his video is YIHI is going to make the Q heavier than the prototype he was using to make people happy. I don't get why some people equate heft with quality. Whats wrong with a light weight mod? I would like to have mods weigh as little as possible so they don't pull my pants down when I have them in my pocket.

If a mod is relatively light b/c its made of plastic material then I guess you can argue that weight is correlated to quality...IMO these big players in the mod market needs to spend some RnD on shrinkage...
Plus 1 for smaller and lighter..... why Yihi wants to make a prototype Q, which is lighter, a heavier device on purpose is beyond me...maybe to save money by using heavier metals...
I read all the comments on Mike's Youtube page and one person suggested the extra weight was to strengthen the materials. I don't know if that's true or not but I guess I buy that answer more than any other.
Well I caved and ordered the Brown. I was going to pass on it for now but the 20% off with batts I said screw it. The code at VapeNW is no longer working. Maybe it is getting close to shipping time, or maybe they got a warning from Yihi. Ended up ordering from Vape Royalty using the code: 20OFFPREORDERS

The SX is no longer in the list of stuff when you hit the 20% Off preorder tab at VapeNW
When the VapeNW code did not work I was like well that decides that purchase. No reason to sign onto a pre-order if there is no break in pricing, but then I remembered the VR deal.
You're right, I just checked the site out and seen they removed it from the pre-order tab. I wonder if that means it's getting close to them having them in stock. Looks like people better hurry up and jump on the VR deal before it's gone too.
I heard yihi are going to make the mod more solid, so when your misses finds out you bought another expensive mod and not spent the money on her, she's got something nice and heavy to throw at you.
You're right, but the first impression pictures looked smaller, but you're right, maybe it was wishful thinming from my side..
Anyhow still not sure if I'll buy it or not
