Same here. It has definitely saved me a couple of times. After using the ML and Q I found that cutout helps to keep the mod slipping through your hand, so I see it as useful now.

I actually like that stainless tube on both the ML and the Q. I rarely use my M since I purchased the ML. I even use the S more than the M.
Actually vaping on the Q topped with the Merlin. Really great single coil atty.
Another thing I found useful on the Q is the ridge on the back top. It's another feature that helps prevent slipping. I can tell YIHI put a lot of thought into the design. It beats the plain box design.![]()
It sure does beat a plain old box design. I thought my MLs were the most comfortable devices I had to hold. The Q is even better. I'm very happy with it and glad I picked one up.
P Brusardo just got one for review. I'm curious to hear his opinion of the device.
He said initially he didn't think it felt as solid as the ML. He never was able to run the numbers on the ML. He had some issue with the he received.
Looking forward to the numbers results.

I still love my M's and don't really notice that big of a diff in the way they do TC. I have 5 m's 2 still in the box 1ml a daily driver. I was going to put it away when I first got it during that $100 sell off at VapeDojo just wished I had gotten 3. I have 1 m that has a PITA battery screw in thingy but I make it work the others all work pretty well. That is one thing I like better on the ML never have a problem changing batteries.I still love my ML's. I treat all my vape gear like golf clubs. Buy them use them and when the technology changes I get the latest upgrade. After that I use the others every once in a while. I too have all of my Provari's. The last one I bought was the P3. Since Yihi hit the scene I have been buying the SX exclusively. It took me a few days for the Q to become equal to my ML.
Trying to find the perfect topper for the Q. Right now the Avocado is my favorite. I'm enjoying the look of a smaller atty on the Q

I have 2 M's, never used the ML. Got my Q today and must say I'm truly digging it thus far.
Question though-- I'm using SS316L with a custom TCR. While using the custom TCR, the mod doesn't display how many joules ive used on these batteries--instead it has a static display of the TCR. I can't figure out how to show the joules.
You can't see the joules display in joules mode. You would jump back to power mode to get a joules reading.
The ML has the same design feature.

But I can see the joules display in joules mode for every setting except a custom TCR. If I switch to ti or ss304, it displays the joules.
This is weird to me. The M displayed the joules count in all modes.

I just checked and you are correct. I only use SS 316 so I always use the manual TCR. Haven't used NI 200 in forever and never used TI.
They did this with the ML as I said before.
For me it actually worked well because I stopped looking at the joules counter all the time.

Haha I'm glad it works for you! But I'm going to miss having that counter there. I might try out some 304; I like the count so much that I'd consider switching wire to use it!
