What did you think of the Tank? I'm assuming its not in your rotation any longer.

I thought it had good flavor but since the tank has 3 air slots it's only good for direct lung hits. I was hoping the YIHI version fixed the leaking and had the option to restrict air flow more but who knows if YIHI will ever get their version to market.

You knkow what, I tried something just for the hell of it. I was watching PB's review on the Escribe vs SXi-Q and noticed he set up one of the presets using the SS setting and in the software it doesn't say SS304 so I thought what the heck I would try the SS304 coil setting instead of Manual TCR at .00092 on SS316L coil and I really couldn't tell the difference. Not sure what TCR they are using for that setting but seemed the same to me except it gave me my Joules counter back. Just thought I would mention it. I don't know how many have tried it but seems fine to me with a KF V5.

Has anyone seen anything on the Mini version of the Q? Mast talked about it briefly on Plumes last night, but I can't find anything on it. Supposedly still dual 18650 with a 350 board. Hopefully they can get this out before the 8th.

Few more bits of info and pics...

Notice the BT initials next to the YiHi SX540j and the bluetooth symbol, so 2 months after releasing the Q class they make it smaller and upgrade the chip, cheers Yihi!

I will still be getting one but does annoy me slightly, they obvioulsy had this planned before the release of the Q.

Being more positive, a smaller lighter Q class would be blooming marvellous! Also is it just me or does the 510 base look bigger?

I wonder what that piece of silver metal is for?

At a guess I would say it is just to have a gap for battery venting OR a piece to grip to pull the doors off, I know both things were mentioned in reviews of the original Q class as negatives which I persoanlly disagree with.

Very easy to remove the doors and being held on like they are, there is no need for seperate venting holes. I will be getting a Q mini, I prefer the clean look of the doors on the Q though.

Just had it confirmed the Q class mini only has one removeable door, so no swapping colours.

Just a guess but looking at specs it doesn't mention aluminium as a material, with only one removeable door I recon the whole mod (except the 510 and sx mini logo) will be zinc alloy, even though its smaller I recon it will be heavier than the Q with its removeable aluminum doors.

I was really hoping it would be lighter than the Q, I like lightweight mods, never understood the whole weight equals a quality feel argument.

I'm surprised they would make the whole thing out of zinc. Seems like if they wanted to make it smaller they would want it lighter as well. I agree I never understood the weight equals quality crowd either. To me the lighter the better.

If I didn't already have a Q I might be interested in the Q Mini but it being all zinc just killed that interest. I'll wait for the G+ to see if they come out with a version without the spider web.

I might be wrong but they don't mention aluminium, I love that you can change the panels on the Q too so that would be missed. I'll wait and see what it weighs and give it some thought, bluetooth is one of those things I would like for some reason but know I would never use lol!

I love the screen on the G+, looks a nice small form factor too with a huge 510 base so no overhang with anything, I recon thats one big lump of zinc alloy though with chucky stainless top (maybe the base too?) so its going to be heavy!

I really think they all just look like prototypes, even the Q class mini which is by far the most polished product is unfinished, no Q class logo and the silver bits on the door don't match the platinum colour like in the press shot. I guess the FDA regs has forced them to sell a few unfinished mods (probably one of each to their vendors) so then they have been sold before the 8th August and they can take their time to go back and perfect them before a proper release.

I think they're probably rushed out prototypes too. I noticed there's a flood of new mods and tanks being announced right now that aren't for sale yet. Everyone wants to beat 8/8. It will probably be months before we can buy any of these products. I know I won't be doing any pre-orders this time. I learned my lesson on the Q class. ;)

My 2 Q's are the last of my YiHi products. They are just too expensive. I'm going to get a couple of Therions dual battery DNA75's. I can get 2 of those for the price of another YiHi. Leather wrapped with a Teak inlay. I have been loyal to YiHi long enough to put up woth them coming out with a better one 2 months later. Reminds me of IPV.
