Any try Evo? From what I've read, seems to be very similar to Halo but much cheaper. I've ordered a couple to see for myself.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

I've tried eVo Habanos Robust, Dakota and Crimson Leaf. The Habanos and Dakota are great and the Crimson Leaf isn't bad. Don't really get much tobacco flavor from the CL. I'm only about a month in though and haven't tried a lot of stuff yet. I've had about 14 of the Dekang tobaccos and a couple of sweets from a couple of US makers. Have some NETs coming from GeJ though I'm afraid they may be too hard on my gear. Time for an upgrade! :D

Oh and btw, I'm 100 pages in on the NET part Deux thread. Lotta good info there and I feel like I know a bunch of you guys already.

This thread is a review thread for synthetic tobacco flavors.Note: no NET's here. (I have nothing against NET's, there's just already a thread for that).

There is generally a much, much wider range of synthetic tobacco flavors from virtually every juice vendor in existence, and a smaller(but growing) number of NET's. Given that a new vaper is more likely to encounter a synthetic first, especially from a major vendor, and I thought it would be nice to have a review thread of all the tobacco flavors we've tried.

Often they're very, very bad, but sometimes they're really good, too. I think both new and experienced vapers looking for tobacco flavors could benefit from this thread.

I will start it off. I should note that I am a cigar/pipe smoker and am well-acquainted with the flavor of tobacco-- I have yet to encounter an e-juice, NET or otherwise, that replicates lit tobacco(except London Blend from Want2Vape). Usually they are far from the mark. However, there are lots of tobacco flavors out there that taste like unlit tobacco or raw tobacco (or other things entirely) that are worth pursuing.

Thank you for starting this thread. I was looking for this type of information.

My latest thoughts on Copperhead from Mister-E-Liquid.
Copperhead E-Liquid from Mister-E-Liquid.com

I would have never tried it if they listed the flavor as blueberries and cream tobacco. However, it works extremely well. Nine days out from manufacture things are melded together extremely well. The tobacco is a nice smoky blend that doesn't come across as your average, "USA Blend" cigarette simulation. It tastes a bit like smooth Virginia and something darker. A lot of work went into getting these flavors right and getting them balanced.

Just make sure you air it out for about six hours, shake it well daily, and wait until at least seven days from manufacture. At first it came across as honeyish with vanilla extract. It was obviously synthetic. After six or seven days old it all magically popped together.

This has been my all day vape and I've already vaped up nearly 5ml since Friday. No small compliment coming from a n.e.t lover.

... I haven't tried the Hangsen Virginia I got from them since my initial tasting, but of 3 different ones I ordered to try and substitute for the good Virginia I love, it came the closest; I gave all 3 another sniff yesterday, and the Hangsen still smells the most like the one I love, so it will probably be the first one back out of the drawer for a 2nd taste...

Andria

How was the Hangsen Virginia after the steep?

Has anyone tried M-Type from TFA? I was thinking of ordering some.

I've never had it, most people say that if you've been vaping a while you won't like it. I think it has a smoky/ashy taste that too closely resembles burning tobacco, but again I've never had any so can't say directly.

Thanks, maybe I will just give up on finding something and vape unflavored nicotine.

What have you tried so far?

Hangsen and some from local B&M. I have been doing DIY because of the cost savings. I am trying to find a non-sweet tobacco, something earthy. Someone on another thread suggested just vape unflavored. I have not tried that yet as I need to order more nicotine.

O faced similar issues. Go over to the DIY section and look in to making your own tobacco extractions. It is pretty simple and a lot of guys in the natural tobacco thread are knoledgable enough to help.

PrimeVapor--

Habanero Esplendido-- This is AWESOME. Sadly it doesn't come in 0 nicotine strength, or I'd buy it all the time. Very smooth, rich, buttery texture with the sharp tang of tobacco underneath. It's like a combination of their Morning Blend and Rawhide Red (both good flavors). The result is a really pleasant flavor and aroma.

My b&m has tobacco, turkish and 555. 555s always have an unpleasant perfume to me. I vaped the turkish for a while as ADV and one day tried the tobacco which became my ADV. A hint of peach or red apple, slightly sugar sweet.

Another b&m sold me Spokane Super Sauce from milehighcig. Strong flavor with taste of pouch tobacco. Good after dinner.

I then tried DIYFlavorshack (generally mix flavorings at 10%)
Shacky Tobaccy good flavor with hint of butter creme.
Magic Puff bland almost no flavor. However today I had hints of flavors and almost cig smoke on exhale. Maybe it needs more steep time.
Heavenly Tobacco DIY good flavor with green apple, not sour. Mixed with caramel, good. Mixed with english toffee, better. My ADV at the moment, straight. Mixed flavors in the evening.
Hickory flavoring, just got it. 3/1 add some to Heavenly/caramel and made a nice mix.
Kahlua and Cream Mixed 10% it doesn't taste like K&C but the longer I vaped the more it tasted like a tobacco flavor. Go figure.

Desert Vapes
Tobacco just got this one and steeped one day it is strong and tastes tobaccoy plus smells like something is on fire lol. Burns my chest, throat and eyes. May need more time. Mixed it 10% with 50/50 18mg. May need to cut to 5%. If so, good value. 3/1 it did mellow out a bit with time.

I find that my tastes change as time passes probably taste returning after quitting cigs. I started this thread about wood flavor
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/530420-wood-flavor.html
Some interesting thoughts and recipes.
I ordered some NET.com but that's another story.

Will edit if I find any new info or flavors.

I can no longer edit this post so will add on
DIYFlavorshack
Cowgirl Silver - sold as a light tobacco. Mixed at 15%, tastes a lot like the Tobacco from Desert Vapes only watered down. I took some DV tobacco mix and cut it half, better than the 10% noted above and close to the Cowgirl.

Got my NET from NET.com, 4 flavors. Way better than synthetic to me. I'm going to try my hand at making some.

I picked this up at a local B&M when I went in to get a new tank. I always try tobacco flavors in these places because you never know...

J-Vapes:

J-Tobacco: Ok, this confuses me. When I exhale through the nose, it tastes vaguely of plastic and celery. But when exhaled through the mouth, it tastes kind of nutty with hints of cocoa. One puff I hate it, the next it's ok. It has a kind of "burning" quality that I don't get from most juices, almost like burning paper. I put in a few drops of Naturally Extracted Tobacco's NET Air Cured Burley to see if that would round it out and give it more of a tobacco body. Doesn't really help. I don't know what to do with it. I want to say I hate it, but I don't hate it every puff... I'm at a loss.

EDIT: yeah, I hate this. Every other puff tastes like I'm chewing on a plastic wrapper and celery.

Vaperoo:

Roobacco: This is a big thumbs-up for me. Tastes like Triple Nickel Light from PrimeVapor but not nearly as sweet. Has a delightful, totally non-sweet almondy inhale, with a slightly sweet, nutty, raisiny exhale. It is so nice to take a risk on something I haven't tried and have it pay off. I will say that it does start to get a little skunky if I switch to a lower-ohm atomizer, so beware of that. Otherwise it's delicious.

Haven't posted here in a while, but I picked up the new NJoy e-liquid on a whim and wanted to put my thoughts out there, as I haven't seen much on them. I actually really like NJoy Kings, and that's unusual for me because I pretty much only vape 0. They're so strong that I can vape without inhaling and still get a nice peppery taste in my mouth, which is something missing from pretty much every tobacco juice I've ever tried, even with nic in it. Unfortunately they're insanely expensive for their battery life. They last about two hours of continuous vaping. At that price I feel like I should just get a couple of cigars....

Njoy:

Classic Tobacco: Got this in 15mg-- they currently offer 15 and 10. Tastes pretty much exactly the same as an NJoy Gold, just not quite as strong and a little sweeter. Has a very intense throat hit and so I don't inhale it very much, but it still gives that nice peppery taste in the mouth even without inhaling, just like the NJoy Gold and NJoy King. If you like NJoy products but don't like the price of Kings, this is pretty much your best option. I like it and I will probably buy it again at a lower strength. It costs about 8 bucks for 5ml, which is a little expensive but not nearly as outrageous as their cig-a-likes, and I expect that as time goes on they'll probably release larger bottles. It's definitely worth a try if you're curious. Most 7/11's seems to be stocking them.

It's 8 bucks for 10 ml, not 5. Still expensive, but not ridiculous.
