I can say I have my stuff, and will be trying it out tonight when filling my carts with the lovely jucie, will let you know how it does my take a few times but did get both the needles sharpe and bevel. (hoping not to stick myself with the sharp one lol)

Like Anita said, it may take a few times, but you'll be a pro in no time. It really is a must have tool for vapers in my opinion. I'm glad you're giving it a try. !!:) Let us know how it goes!! please

I heard that if you warm up the juice a little before putting in the syringe it makes filling a lot easier. There are some videos out there where they use a spoon and then light a candle......j/k j/k hehehe.

I guess I'm just stubborn, one of the "fear the syringe" types, I do have plan on another video and was going to show a technique I use to clear the air tube and while putting excess juice back in the bottle.

Put pressure on the sides of the juice bottle, squeeze the air out, turn the carto upside down and release the pressure. The vacuum created will suck all the juice in the air tube right back into the bottle. if the Pfill is over-saturated do the same thing but place the dropper into the pfill.

Whether you fly, walk, ride a bike, or drive a car, however you get to your destination if it works for you that's all that counts.

WOWIE! Snow lol ----------- !!!!

Agreed, whatever works best for the individual, the bottle vacuum technique sounds like a good one too. I just find working with a syringe to be easiest for me to accomplish most of the maintenance, but I know it's not for everyone.

I'm going to Tractor Supply for a couple of things today. I'm going to take a look at the syringes if they have any. For me it always comes down to the less I have to clean, invest, or carry with me the better.

When I first started I never got any .... plugs with my condoms and didn't understand that even a small burn hole in the polyfill will cause a carto to leak quickly when drip filling. At first this resulted in juice dripping out the batt end all over whatever surface I was working on. I quickly learned to put a condom on the batt end, but juice would still leak and simply fill the female battery connection void. So I would have to take the excess juice in the carto, pop the droplet cap off the bottle and squeeze it back in. Then take a tissue and wipe down the inner threads and outside lower housing of the carto and washout the condom...cumbersome and wasteful to say the least.

Then like many, I tried the Taryn Spin which pretty much resulted in the same thing other than now I had a battery case which was semi-saturated and wreaked of a mixture of juices. I also learned that you can fling a battery case really far while spinning when the string breaks!

Then I used the condom method pushing the carto down, waiting to see the juice pop up in the air tube hole on the battery side. Again, same results, lots of clean up and waste, and most time it left my fingers smelling of juice.

All these attempts to find the best clean way to fill a carto had an added issue....dirty batteries. Gunk would develop in the threads, air intake holes and outer post ring of the battery connector, leaving me cleaning batteries at least weekly. Even though I tried to clean out the carto threads, a little juice always remained along with residual juice in the air tube hole which would run back down into the battery connection.

It only took 6 months of trial and error to find the right method. Now I no longer waste juice, have condoms to clean, clean my batteries maybe once a month, and never have to wash my hands. After receiving some cartos with .... plugs I can use my own styled lanyard for cartos with tightly wrapped pfill or take out the plug and spin out old juice or water.

Given all of that (I'm sure many have gone through what I have) I can see the advantages of using a syringe.

I've also found that a condom stuck on the end of the syringe (with no needle) works great for rinsing out carts too. just put the condom on the cart, place the batt end in the hot water and plunge the syringe. It forces the water up through and back down, taking all the junk out.The you can suck out excess water when you're done. ♥ It's smaller than having to take a baster or anything with you when you travel, quite handy ♥

Wow, if I help convert you to a syringe, that would be quite an accomplishment to me. I think you'll really like it. You just have to think of it as just another tool, with no preconceived thoughts about it's 'other' uses. It's advantages are obvious. Very time saving after you get the hang of it. Definitely worth a buck to try out.

But if it don't work out, I'll look forward to other methods you dream up to help others with e-cigs. Or maybe new uses for the syringe!!:)

I'm on Team Syringe too.
I vaped pre-filled for the first two months, then used the condom refilling method for seven months, and since late January, an 18 gauge is my tool of choice.

The condom method with the mouthpiece on and plunged into the juice keeps some juice off the threads but I can't SEE how much is going in there and I would tend to over-fill even with a Taryn-spin.

The condom method with the mouthpiece off and the carto threads plunged into the juice is great for SEEING how much juice is going in there. I had better success this way but there is a lot of wiping involved.

I agree with Snow in that the juice residue on the cartos affect battery life, care, and frequency of maintenance.

I noticed a very high tissue and paper towel consumption rate during my condom days of yore, but now - no more! Wiping down cartos (and carrots too Max!), keeping waterless hand cleaner by the PC, wiping my hands, rinsing condoms, ....-plugs, and mouthpieces in alcohol and other collateral messes to deal with was too much. I'll take the time but I don't like messy!

Enter the syringe with needle. Why did I wait so long to try it like this? I used to have a diabetic cat who required one insulin injection a day for four and a half years with a 29 gauge needle. Too bad I can't use those - they are TINY.

Now I have a dedicated syringe for each of my juices, and no more sticky fingers!

I have never attempted to clean a carto.........yet?

I think I definitely get the idiot of the year award. I watched some videos about the taryn spin. Filled about 25 cartos, did the spin, topped them off, capped them and put them in a drawer. Alls good. Until I went to vape them. Got about 10 puffs, burned. Got another one, 10 puffs burned. You get the picture. Re watched this video. How could I have all these dry cartos? I didn't take into account that the video was with a home made lanyard so when you put the carto on battery was down. Well I was using my v4l lanyard and still put the carto in the same way. I was actually spinning out the juice. I really feel stupid, but all I can do is laugh. the worse part is that I had about 3 boxes of pre filled carts that are now mixed in with about 20 carts about 10 puffs
My vet gave me a syringe, but haven't tried it yet. If I can mess up something as simple as the taryn spin, it could be dangerous to get out a needle.

I will NOT laugh. This is SO something I would do. And I haven't had the nerve to get a syringe. :)
