... clear tape will protect the markings for some time.

Been using my syringes with clear Scotch tape for over a year.

The tape method works well. I also put tape on my flavor bottles from RTS vapes. They tend to run if they get PG on them. My WL bottles don't seem to have that problem. Another option for syringes is to buy glass. I really like mine and have a 1ml 2ml and 5ml. Got them from Northern Technology and testing. Good luck

do the glass syringes use the same luer lock needles as the plastic syringes?

the glass syringes look nice. reasonable prices for the small ones ($11-$20), but once you get into the gigantic ones, boy oh boy do the prices skyrocket! the 1 liter syringe is fifteen hundred dollars! 0_o
is this the site you mention, John?

Like Amish 3006, I use a "blade" method also. I tried nail polish, but it dissolved the ink.

I've had mixed results with using packing tape alone. If pg, Vodka (used for cleaning syringes) etc. gets under the tape, the adhesive sometimes dissolves, along with the ink beneath it.

Before using a syringe, I carefully etch a thin groove across the original lines. When the ink starts to rub off, I trace the grooves with a permanent maker then gently wipe excess ink from the surface of the syringe ~ the ink stays in the etched areas. I cover this area with a small strip of packing tape. When the tape becomes compromised, I remove it and repeat the sharpie process.

I don't bother etching the numbers...Just etch a longer line at each ml. level.

I'm sure there are better / easier ways ~ I welcome the info!
