I am a new DIY'er, and while I found syringes easily on Amazon, I approached the pharmacy in my local grocery store and was surprised to find that they stock 1ml, 3ml, and 10ml syringes available 4 for $1.00. They all had sharps attached, so care is needed, but that is a much more cost effective alternative to almost anything I found online. Does anyone else purchase their syringes locally?

I purchased all of my DIY supplies at My Freedom Smokes.

I'd get a blunt needle ( $2.95 ) for your syringes if I were you.

Choose the size of syringe you need for $ .95 each.

When I started I was buying syringes every time I had a diy order, it adds up. Then I bought 100- 1 ml syringes on amazon for $10. 50 tips for $15. Tractor Supply sells a bunch of different sizes in the cattle section. I'm going to ask at the pharmacy the next time I go there.

I got my syringes from CVS. I re-use them pretty extensively. As a side-tip, when you first get your syringe, put some simple clear tape over the mL markings on the side of it. Those things wear off the plastic in no time flat.

Also, it's a good idea to look specifically for the Leuer lock syringes. You don't want the "eccentric" tips, as those are designed primarily for puncturing skin and getting into veins. Among the added benefit of coming in larger gauges, you'll avoid some strange looks/unnecessary questioning if anyone stumbles across your syringes if you can hold them up and say "they're all blunt tip, can't penetrate skin."

I just got some DIY pg and vg Nic to mix to try non flavored vaping. I have bottles but forgot syringes  I am going to look at the drug store and see what they have also a tractor supply nearby but how big are theirs? Hopefully not cow sized haha:D

Dave the Tractor Supply near me had all sizes, 1 ml to 35 ml. They do come with a sharp tip, I just throw mine away so I don't have to worry about my inherent clumsiness.

Good idea I will look for the Leur tips. They all know me at the local CVS so I'll just say yah I'm an addict but sharp tips scare me haha :p

Good advice, if I get those Ill do the same and throw the tips away, thanks!

Thats a decent price! Might try blunting them needles on a medium/fine emery stone.
I have been trying to find a source for glass syringes like the ones used in the medical profession. They would last a very long time.

I bought a few glass syringes off Amazon and a few packs of blunt tip dispensing needles. They're pricier than their plastic brethren, but they're holding up perfectly after over a year of DIYing, I don't have to worry about anything leaching out of the plastic, and I can soak them in pretty much anything without having to worry about the plastic degrading.

I stopped using syringes and moved to graduated cylinders, much easier to use and clean.

I imagine it's rather difficult to measure out 3% flavoring for a 15ml bottle using a graduated cylinder. What kind of graduated cylinder do you use that allows you to accurately measure 0.45ml?
