T-rex and Ego 1100mah charger issue

new to vaping about 2 months ago...

in wanting to try it, I bought a starter kit Ego 1100mah (1 battery, usb/wall charger, atomizer)
after a month, it fell from my pocket and sadly, the battery is no longer functional...or so I thought...being a noob and all...

seller replaced the battery with a T-rex but it seems the middle part is not in contact...goes green when charging

thinking of adding up some solder on the middle part...would that help?

my girlfriend had the same problem. one t-rexand 2 riva chargers one worked on it and the other didnt. i took the chargers apart and used measured the connector and they where just a hair off. i dont recommend this for warranty reasons but i filed the connector on the t-rex a little and it worked fine after that. she bought hers used so it didnt matter about the warranty for us.

thanks for the confirmation...

i only had 45 days warranty on the first...replacement was no longer in warranty as well...kind seller willing to send me compatible charger but i will go solder away and see...

as for the dead battery that dropped, i cut out the switch part and put in a 14500 on a 10ml syringe...super glue and carbon fiber on the body then used the charger with it..easiest mod ever! well for those with dead batteries anyway
