T3 and Regular Clearomizer

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased an X2 and regular clearomizer which I really like. My question is what is the difference with the T3?

I did try the Nano but thought it muted flavor too much. Anyway, I would like to try the T3 but if it is like the nano I would rather just stick with the regular clearomizer. If someone could explain the difference I would be very appreciative.

The T3 holds almost twice as much liquid, and would be a whole lot easier to maintain. The T3 is also bottom coil, to avoid dry hits and wicking issues. The T3 bottoms are probably better sealed too, to keep them from dripping onto the battery post (that was the annoying thing I found with the clearos).

The thing I'm looking forward to the most in the T3 is the replaceable head that's easy to access for cleaning. That could make them last forever. You can't do that with the regular clearo. Some of the clearo problems were addressed with the T3; in fact, it was gonna replace clearos until the clearo fans protested - then it got brought back. I haven't gotten mine yet (any day now), but the [Kanger] T3 has gotten really good reviews for flavor, vapor and performance. But then, so have the clearos (CE4), except for their few quirks that not everybody has gone through.

Skipped the Nanos, but I heard it takes a couple of fills to get them to work right. Maybe try them again?

Thank you for explaining the difference. So the replacement heads on the T3 will allow you to use different liquids?

I've been using the T3s for several months and love them. I get about 4 solid days of heavy vaping out of a new head. I rinse and soak them once and get another 2 -3 days out it before I pitch the head and put a new one in. I only vape one juice -AltCig's Bob's Krave Kutter.

so what your saying there only good for 7days of heavy vaping....with a clean in between.....then new head....what if I had 3 flavours going in one day...with 3 t3s......how long would the 3 last....in your opinion....thanks

Not having tried one, but I am fully expecting the coil head to last longer than 1 week. My experience with SI products in general is very good. I use 5-6 CE3's and clearos at the same time, with different juices. I haven't been doing this long enough to estimate how long each last. That being said, I would assume the equivalent of 2-3 weeks [or more] exclusively per device. As such, I expect the T3 is similar. We'll find out soon enough..... USPS is on its way.

I've have gotten kind of picky as I approach the close to my second year of vaping. I only vape one type of juice now. When I first started using the T3 I was probably getting 3-4 weeks out of a head. The more I reused a head, the faster it would it would darken my juice, which affects the flavor as far as my taste buds are concerned. It may be just me but you can't beat the taste of a fresh head. I don't dry burn. Tried it a couple of times and no matter what, I could always taste that burnt taste after. So I average about a week out of a head and I'm good with that. I have 12 brand new heads in my vape box waiting for me and I think I've got another 10 coming to me for Christmas. I'm OK with $2.49 per head per week plus the cost of my juice. Still cheaper than the 50-60 bucks a week I used to spend on analogues.

As far as your 3 flavors in 3 T3s, I really don't know. I think a lot of this depends on the juice and how often you vape. For me if I'm awake I'm vaping unless I'm eating or in the can or my hands are busy doing something more important. I figure I probably vape 6-7 mls a day.

2) Harder to clean and dry (not much wiggle room in tank chamber due to the metal air tube)
3) PITA to rebuild
4) Need to adjust number of "flavor wick" to prevent dry hit and flooding when vaping different PG/VG ratio eliquids
5) Airy draw, need to plug air holes to adjust tightness of draw (too tight will increase chance of flooding)
6) Can work with high VG% or PG% eliquids

YOU will I promise you,,just rinse the coil on every new tank full,,,it is as simple as that.

if you can't get a flavor out of a coil,just fill a T3 with unflavored nic juice and use that coil and vape it down,it will clean it ,slowly but surely,,and extend the life of your coil.

take it for what it is worth.

YA know i have gotten to like unflavored nic juice and i may some day just use it for my all day vape,,,it will supply my nicotine cravings and maybe some day help me to wean my self off of vaping period.

every coil is different,,i'm talking about the T3s now,but even if you are using the same juice over and over,,you should rinse it every couple of fills,,but if you have more money then most of us,,just toss them,don't make an effort to make them last.

Rinsing the coil is really easy. You have to take coil assembly off the tank to fill it anyway. While you have it off, just rinse the whole coil assembly under warm water in the sink, making sure to run water down the center air tube. Then dry it off as well as possible, blow the water out of the air tube from the battery end, and put it back on the full tank. You don’t have to let it dry completely, but it takes a few vapes to get it going again.

My first two lasted about a month. They still vaped OK, but were turning my juice dark really fast.

Just stating the limitations of T3 and nothing more. While an airy cool vape may satisfy you with the eliquid you're using, personally, I wouldn't waste my Bobas and GJ in them (prefer a tight warmer draw from my PhoenixRBA). As to rebuild them or not...well, I only mentioned it since it's rebuildable. If you're willing to pay $2+ for a replacement head instead of dealing with the hassles of rebuilding them then definitely that's your choice. But if you vape eliquids containing sweetener or oil which gunk up your coils fast and shorten the lifespan of of the wick/coil like I do, then you'll be able to appreciate the amount of savings by rebuilding them yourself.

A hot rinse is enough to clean the head? Do a dry burn after rinsing in hot water and swipe the coil with a q-tip. I'm sure you'll find plenty of burnt carbon residue on it. Now, ask yourself if you want to inhale that into your lungs...
