Yeah they sell little sleeves. I'm not sure I understand the point of it given the adjustable airflow. I suppose having those little sleeves might serve to concentrate the airflow on the coil for people who are using tighter afc settings if that makes sense. Sort of like the different nozzle attachments for air compressor hoses either concentrating the air or opening it up. Having a tighter piece in that center air hole would shoot the air harder at the coil when the afc is on a more closed off setting, and probably make the vape better. I like more open draws though, so I'll probably pass.

I think that theory makes sense at least haha

Since reading your post again I see that you are referring to the draw tubes, on version 1's that was where the air flow adjustment was made. The choices were 1, 1.2 and 1.5 mm with 1 .2 mm being the stock size.

Exactly. I feel like those tubes would have a minor effect on the vape experience for those who enjoy a tighter draw, but these wouldn't be applicable to me because I like big airflow haha

It's the little tube sticking up in the center of the base between the posts where you attach the coil. As I understand it the one it comes with is 1.2 mm id and a 1 mm and 1.5 mm are available, this is how the air flow can be adjusted. With the original this atty had the best flavor I've ever seen but the draw was too tight for my liking. With the tube left out the draw was where I liked but that good flavor disappeared so with the help from the air tube from a CE2 (maybe 3) I put in a 1.5 mm ID tube that I cut down and now I have a happy medium.

This is probably the 3rd post I made in this thread, right after I got my first TGT.

Hi guys, i hope im ok discussing a clone GT here, if not im sorry - But im having a very odd issue with my Hcigar version right now, what ive noticed is when i take a pull on it, i see air bubbles not coming from the wick holes but from below the sleeve where the Logo is, resulting in the deck inside the chamber getting slightly flooded and minor leakage from airhole and oddly the 510 screw. My sleeve is in the locked up setting so its in the groove and my top cap for the chamber is just tight to stop gaps in the wick hole. But as i say the bubbles are from below where the sleeve goes into below the logo.

I cant see anyway of stopping this at all but im not familiar with the GT at all, ive removed the airtube and insulator as by god its tight when they are in and just about ok without them. Anyone ever encountered this before? and while im here, am i safe to adjust the 510 screw as it needs backing out to fit on the DNA30 mod ive got.

Edit. and vapour production is pretty damned low and wispy, but thats more than likely my build 1.6ohm 28gauge, around a 2mm bit and Muji Cotton.

Well first off there's plenty of clone users here.
Is your sliding sleeve still snug when it's in it's extended position?
Is there too much wick in the wick slots making it easier for the air to escape from the bottom of the sleeve instead of around the wicks.
With the draw tube removed any liquid on the deck can easily enter the air outlet hole.
Go ahead and adjust out the 510 screw but a 2nd o-ring or little nylon washer may need to be added to it to avoid it leaking from there instead of the air hole when and if flooding occurs. Just some ideas, maybe some help.

I got 4 x 1.2 (over sized) o-rings today for my type B chimney stem that was fitting loose. Well they were just a fuzz too big so I mounted a short shaft from a small telescopic portable radio antenna into my drill, slipped the o-ring onto it and held a piece of sandpaper against it while spinning it. Now I'm modifying o-rings.
Seems to have worked out just fine, I have to vape on it for a while now to test.

I got mine today too. Not sure how to judge the quality because this is the first I have had. Looking forward to trying to build it tomorrow
I received my Ehpro Taifun GS clone today. I'm slightly disappointed that it isn't a 1:1 of the original as is the Hcigar. The problem is just that I have spare plastic tanks and the threading is different, not a problem with the Ehpro otherwise, quality appears real good.

That's three pieces of FT 3 mm silica (closer to 2.75 mm) sticking out that wick slot.(TGT-S)
Air intake hole is a bit larger too.

They are there, trust me.

So my plan for this was for on a DNA 40 with a Ni200 coil but first I wanted to see how it was with Kanthal. This worked quite well, up to 30 watts, which is higher than I use but I had to see where it started going South.
Tonight I put in the Ni200, twisted 30 gauge nickel @ 0.12Ω. Really good @ 25 watts and 450F.

I decided to give my new Ehpro Taifun GS a little bath. After I'm done doing this to all new atties I twist up a piece of paper towel and make sure there's no gunk left in the chimney stem. Look what came out, a little added bonus.
This kind of thing happens on occasion with original too just not as often, look for this stuff on all new atties.

eek - wouldn't want to inhale that little sucker. Gotta give all atty's a bath. I'm guilty of assuming that authentic atty's have better quality control and have skipped this on occasion, but it's dumb. This can happen on any atty. Processes fail no matter how good they are. Thanks for the reminder Craig.

can you recommend a video for building this?
