haha, saw that at 5 am and ordered one instantly! shoulda ordered 2 maybe lol.
You ain't kidding for the price I ordered 6 of them.. I seem to crack alot of there tanks.
They seem to be alot thinner then the standard ehpro, tobeco etc plastic tank sections.
Even I decided to order 3they seem to be very popular, no surprise though
my brother-in-law auto-fired my taifun gt for god knows how long the other weekend. had to put the whole thing in the freezer because it was so hot.

Wow... that sucks. I've seen some pictures of the base taken apart, I guess the plastic (delrin?) insulator that separates the metal base section may have melted if it got hot enough, that is pure speculation on my part.
If the base does have a short, your going to have to dissasemble it to attempt a repair, unless its in the posts on top...
clone or authentic? clone means fairly inexpensively replaced, authentic means you've leverage over your wife for a while

Unfortunately thats the best case scenario here.... its a $30 maximum loss at this point....
I don't know how to separate the base either... I'd like to twist my build deck so I can have the logo facing me when attached to my mod, without twisting or S shaping the wick in the chamber. The only bad about the clones is the cheap prices are all from overseas vendors and long shipping times. A few B&M in my area carry the clones, but they are almost always double the online price Again sorry K.....

it's not terrible as I have 3 taifuns. The wife takes one, I use the other. had the other as a spare for a different juice. I do like to have a taifun for each hana, but I shipped the green one out to get looked at Saturday so that should be gone for about a week or so. hopefully I can get the this one replaced before the green one gets back

well in that case, fasttech china post has been impressive on delivery times lately... if you consider 10 days impressive. My latest got to me as quickly as 1 order I placed using $22 global express shipping.... I think the global express which was delivered by fedex got to me in about 8 days and was like a $22 add on (I'd have to check my previous orders) and the last one was free china post option (not usps) and got to me in 10 days... so...... sounds like your in good shape unless they are backordered on the taifun gt?
Assuming that says delivered LOL... 3 days is like, wow............ might try singpost next time
