'Sfunny, on my vaping table right now is a mail order bag filled with many ziploc bags of O rings. I'm sure it's mine though, honest.
Put it in something else QUICK! I am sure I mindlessly threw mine away thinking it was vape mail trash. I am just distraught!

I just used an industrial cyanoacrylate super glue. Not exactly a healthy option but I did keep checking in the mirror to make sure my lips weren't going blue and I wasn't foaming at the mouth - well, no more than normal at any rate.
Do send them back, the only thing you'll be misssing is frustration and annoyance!
Yeah I am going to. I was not all that pleased with the look anyway. Much prefer the new acrylic all in one tank

Speaking of clear tanks *droool*

This *droool* is for Teleos, OMGsh The Milk and Crunch are both amazing (you can even go a little nutty and mix them together, but shhh, don't tell anyone I said that)

NO laughing now...up until a few days ago when I got my Lemo I had never really cranked anything up above 12-13 watts (tanks that is, I have with a dripper) well getting the Lemo and building a large coil and adding more airflow made me adventurous, so I did the same with my TG2 and opened it wide open and turned it up to 20watts. Whole new world for me vaping now :w00t::rickroll:

Yeah, the GT2 can handle some decent power. I usually vape it between 15-19watts (it depends on my mood, lol) but I've vaped it over 20 quite a few times, and it doesn't skip a beat. The 3.2 bushing can't hurt at 20+ watts though, but it sure wicks a treat regardless.

Loving it...

Good grief that does look nice but there's no wick in it. Oh wait, I can see a few fibres poking out!
Seriously though, I always put in more cotton (I assume it is cotton) than that otherwise I either get leaking or spitty, spitty, bang, bang; at least I do with a 2.5mm nickel coil. What ID coil do you use please?

I use 2.5mm and I always cut my wicks as flush as possible without issue :)

Next time you rewick please take a picture of the cotton dry, I'd like to see what it looks like on the inside. I imagine it's pretty fluffed against the edges.

Thanks for that. I leave longer tails so I can suck up juice right to the bottom of the tank. At 12W everything is very happy. At 20W the wicking gets problematic and I get temp. protection kicking in. (So saying, I've just whacked the power up to 20W with no problem at all!)

I suspect some of my tank walls are too thick and squeeze the cotton too much. At the moment I'm using Daniel's (I think it was his) recommendation:

It's not as pretty (or expensive!) as yours and doesn't hold as much juice but it has given me less trouble than any other tank and the vape is spot on from full to empty. (I actually enjoy refilling it so that's a big plus!)

So far no problems, Its a 2.4 diameter coil with 27g kanthal. I think its the focal point, I opened the lens to 2.4 so very small area of sharpness. So far wicking great on 100% VG DIY liquid.

Ive been using my Taifun now since I got it and noticed that it was getting floody. I figured it was my wicks not being fluffy enough. I rebuilt it and use a bit more and left a bit more fluff sticking out and lightly pushed inside for any errant liquid.

It kept getting worse and I could see the liquid going up the center air tube. I thought maybe its too open, still kept leaking when left alone for a while. It did not do this over night.

I decided to try the OEM glass and SS tank, no leaks, in fact I had to open the JF a tad. Been hitting it hard and for longer drags, so far no dry hits.

Has anyone had problems with their Steam Tuners clear Taifun Tank? I checked and it seems the O-ring is not tattered or loose or dry. I will let it dry and try it out again tomorrow. I think someone posted about something you can do to check if the seal is good? I think it was Roxy...

Well, I got a fix for my Taifun leakage.. It was the drip tip I put on it. I changed out the tip for a fancy one I just got in. It was a bit looser on the Steam Tuner tank which messed with the air tightness and caused a straw effect. I cleaned it out, put the OEM tip and its fine again...

I posted in the Taifun page on FB and a nice German told me how to take care of it.
