Build pics for AAF

I screwed the chamber cap down a tiny bit more before the juicing pics

Notice it isn't a ton of wick, but it isn't rolled right, I leave it fluffy as possible. I check to make sure when I lightly pull down on the wick protruding on either side, there is no large space created at the top of the wick channels. I also don't pre juice, I wet the wicks after the cap is on and the wicks are trimmed. As I juice, I use the dropper to fluff out the wick ends.

I put wick in the coil, slide the chamber cap on, cut the wick almost flush, then prime or wet the wicks, then put the top cap on. Always done it this way.

Anavidfan, I hate to just repeat what others have already said but only speaking from my own experience it sounds like your having oring issues. If it's a clone, remember that you can't go by what the manuals say for oring sizes, you'll have to try other sizes and figure out what works. I've done that with all of mine when they leaked and 9 times out of 10 it solves the issue. The two problematic orings are on the stem, the little tiny one- and the chamber sleeve. The others have been more forgiving to me.

Thanks for all the suggestions, sounds like oring but the shorting and the hike in resistance from 1.0 to 2.75 worries me. I keep checking to make sure legs are wrapped snug and firm. I look to see if one of the legs is touching the chimney or the top tube when inserted?

I will give it a try again later. I will start from scratch and check orings. So there is an oring on the base and one around the top , under threading . Is there another one that maybe I lost?

The top cap has an o-ring too, and it can get pushed back out of position (or put on wrong if you don't know where exactly it goes) in addition to the o-ring on the chimney

Well its washed and dried and when I feel like taking a chance I will try it again. I hope I figure it out. I guess it might sit in my box as I would not feel right selling it if there is a defect.

I will try to take some up close photos so if there is an obvious problem someone might see it.

Im glad you did, Mtek, thats what I worries about when I have a problem with something that is known for being foolproof. Most of the time there are wonderful people who jump in and help one figure out what Im doing wrong.

Every once in a while, you get some hardcore fans that keep telling you there is no way there could be a flaw. That "you" are not experienced enought, that "you" are just doing something wrong...

No matter how great a product is made or expensive, there is likely to have that 1 in a million to have a flaw. This has happened to me with the "worlds greatest, best made, flawless GG's"

I had a few Odys when I got a part that was not right, It was finished horribly rough, burrs and the specs were way off.

Im sure its just me. I just dont know how to check if its an anomaly or defect since I dont have another to compare it to.

If ya got the cash the TGT II made by Smokerstore (authenic) certainly ain't a bad way to go. But if you don't have the means and want to go with a clone Fasttech sells many but they only have two that I find acceptable because of the deck posts, overall machining and the thickness of the wall of the tank liner (2 mm vs 1 mm).
Taifun GT II - InTaste ......about $128 plus shipping (no VAT)
$20.02 HOTCIG GT-T V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0mL) - stainless steel + matte glass / 23mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping ......$20.02 shipped (figure 3 weeks)
$23.51 GT-T V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0mL) - stainless steel + matte PC / 23mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping ......$23.51 shipped. This one has a plastic tank liner and sometimes ships with an extra glass liner and an acrylic bell cap and sometimes not, I didn't get the extras.
This is just my recommendations.

Good info @dwcraig1

I got shipping notice from smokestore, no tracking or anything. Does anyone have an estimated shipping time from them to the U.S.? I would have certainly went intaste at three day arrival, but they didn't have the larger wick chamber bushing in stock. I got the flat top and double window too, pretty excited to get it.

Probably like 10-12 days (business days?) I think? Could go quicker, but I seem to remember people saying it was usually a couple weeks ordering from them. Then again, sometimes stuff just shows up super quick out of nowhere...maybe someone who order driectly from them can chime in?!?!
