Ever have one of those BIG OOPS moments in ordering vape related gear? I thought I ordered a pair of TGT II XS tanks and got the package in after a month of worrying because of no movement ( Greek post was on strike)

I was all excited and happy and open the package and DOH !!!! I made a mistake and ordered the same size that the GT2 comes with....

Just in case anyone is in need of the reg size tank and glass or wants to update their GT1, let me know. I will be putting them up in the classifieds.

DOH!!!

Did you just goof on the ordering, it wasn't a screw up on their end?

Bummer either way after a long wait like that

LOL,After taking so long to reply to my questions about the order etc, never got a shipping notice, I finally got a reply about the strike and after a month got movement on the package. 1 month of it showing it was "accepted" by German post. Then there it was in Anaheim.

Open the package and yell out, Damn !!!! if they didnt blankity blank blank send me the wrong item. I took a deep breath and told myself, no biggie knit happens.

I check my order and it was ME that goofed. :)

Yeah, don't ya love that? Right after getting done raging on them to yourself, it turns out they had nothing to do with it...lol. I am very familiar with how these kinds of events play out :D

Yep.... I got all angry for just a moment, but told myself, easy mistake.... I know they would exchange it, but after a month and the shipping, cheaper to just sell them off here and then get the right sets .

Plus Im embarrassed to tell them I goofed after whining about where my package was, and what they would do if the package got lost, wah, wah wah...

I will loose money, but heck Im used to that :)

Oh, regarding the 1 TGT2 that would not screw into my P3...

I finally got a reply from Taifun and they said they would be happy to look at the base and or replace it... I decided to wait till I got my GS2 ...I forgot about it. In the meantime I had scratched up my P3 510 connection with an atty and because Im OCD, ordered a replacement 510 connection and tried out the TFGT 2 and it goes on perfect.

It was not the atty, it was the P3 510 connection all along... I will have to contact Taifun and let them know their atty was not malfunctioning...

Strike 2 [emoji14]

That's good to hear that the mystery has been solved though :) Good thing you found that out before sending the base to them.

Yeap, I used to be so efficient, logical and level minded .... I would study things, look over my orders etc. Now a days, Im a train wreck...
When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily,
Joyfully, playfully watching me.
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
Logical, responsible, practical.
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
Clinical, intellectual, cynical.

The Scooter version of that song is amazing

Thank you for reminding me of a great song I had not listened to in way too long a time..

Yeah, previously owned vape mail.... I just got in a TGT1 base that will be so I can have a dedicated Taifun dripper !

After a few weeks of use, Im really liking my TGTII's. I got the wicking down just right for me, no leaks, no dry hits or gurgle of any sort, even on these hot summer days.

In case anyone wants to know, I do the wicks inside the chamber. I leave them about a cm or so from the chamber and I sort of loosly roll them under and tuck them firmly but not packed up to the slots. Im also using the reg chamber not the wider slotted one.
