Interesting... He didn't use mesh straws or the PTFE tubes. He just made sure his cotton tails were long enough to be pushed up against the holes in the top cap. That's good news for me - the less fiddling the better. It looks really good!
I don't have an original to check that but i think it should fit.
These are poly and they fit the GT1Does anyone know where I can get the stainless and plexi tanks for Taifun GT 1? I cant seem to find the genuine parts anywhere. If anyone knows which of the clones are compatible/ no leaks, is the best one?
I checked Gear best and fastech and they dont have just the ss and Plexi parts. I hate to buy a whole GT only for the tanks.

Are you looking for the tank that's half SS and half plastic, that's a hard one.
So is it worth getting a GSL? Or is my 22mm GS2 so close it doesn't matter?
Unless you need a 23mm, Id say the 22 is more than fine![]()
The differences I see is it looks like the GSL has a raised airhole. I don't think my 22mm GS2 does. And maybe the feeder straw holes are not so gigantic, but I do have it functioning fine now despite that.
Mine is supposed to be here today, will post a photo of GS2 and GSL side by side to see about those holes.
I was thinking, like I tend to do, about the size of those holes and thought to myself that maybe because they did not have an actual GSL they just enlarged the CAD design of the smaller one a few percentages, but that also enlarged the holes?
Anyway, we will see later when it gets here.
It sounds as if you do indeed have it cross threaded.I bought Replacement Acrylic Tank for Taifun GT-T V2 RTA to go with Replacement Base + Chimney for Taifun GT-T V2. I can't get the tank to screw down onto the base. It doesn't seem quite long enough and wants to try to cross-thread a little also.
