@dwcraig1... Fake batteries? That sucks. We all make mistakes.
So the way this started out I ordered 4 Efest 18350's and only received 2. So I contact the Ebay seller and they have no more Efests. Ebay seller says they will give me the AW's instead. Hey I only paid $4 a piece so sure.
Well they aren't AW's, I did order some AW's elsewhere though, here's some of the ways to tell:
AW doesn't sell a 900 mah 18350
AW has been using a hologram sticker for a couple of years.
Aw doesn't sell flat top 18350's
The "o" in RoHS is lower case on the authentic, upper case on the fake.

They do appear to be 5 amp IMR but I can't be sure so they're kind of scarey.
Edit: I see the watt hours is wrong on the fake, it would be 3.33 Wh
2.6 Wh is what the older 700 AW was.

I like the pouch... I tried something similar when I was carrying my WAE2 around all the time... But I couldn't get used to it around my neck.
I have calculated something like 7000 hours around my neck. I only forgot to take it to work with me once and I had one day(night) off. 10 hours a day for a couple of years.
I had that problem with wearing a wrist watch, I never could wear one early on as I worked as an auto mechanic for quite a few years and usually broke them on day one. I tried pocket watches, broke them too.

BTW: I slotted the lower AFC on my GSL. I don't think it improved the lower air flow any... I couldn't really see whats going on inside the base, but it seems like there are holes cut to carry air from the base surround to the center air port under the coil. (hope that makes sense)

I did NOT drill the center air hole under the coil for fear I would take away the raised lip, and I didn't want to have to fuss around with finding a tube to put in there and whatnot... Slotting was easy but changed nothing IMO. Just letting others know.

Success, hate me. Now I have to put in another coil as I don't know what it is. big air though.
Introducing 23 mm GS2.
BTW, that's a short piece of toy remote control antennae press fit into the drilled out hole. I left a small shoulder at the bottom of the hole. I'm going to switch to the one slot upper AC ring as soon as I reduce it a bit.
Edit: It just dawned on me that I can close off some of the holes on the AC ring....DUH
Yes Phone Guy, it ended up too airy.

So to be clear, you drilled the hole of the GSL, put in a piece of antenna (genius btw), and that improved the lower airflow?

I know increased lower air would improve flavor. It would have to.

(Oh yeah, I hate you again LOL [emoji23])

I was wondering if I read all that right. I am pretty impressed too.
This is why it is fun to hang around in a guys (mostly) thread. (broke up a remote toy to use the antenna for an a/c thingy)
not sure most girls would do that or even think like that

I tried a bunch of clones and they all sucked. I ended up buying an authentic. The reason they sucked was the -s removable base caused a ton of connectivity issues. The authentic, if you like the clone will blow you away fit and finish wise. Gt2 is one of the few clones I bought that never worked right and I went out and bought the authentic.

You can buy an authentic base and use clone parts for the rest, at least the hotcig Clones work well enough to pair with the authentic one.

I just build mine with an infinity coil last night. I've used infinity coils a ton in kayfun but due to the air hole design I didn't feel it would be ideal in the gt2. So I gapped it more across the middle to allow air to,flow better through the collection chamber. I was worried the extended joint wouldn't hold up and would heat through and break but with the cotton and liquid in there it's not an issue. The result is a super flavorful vape that takes a fair bit of power and chucks vapor.

For the underside of the cotton I ended up cutting it close to the bottom of each chimney coil and then pushing it back towards the center air hole.

Anyway I highly recommend this build 28 gauge, 8 wraps total around a 2.5mm post split into four (you just food the coil in half effectively making sure you go the right direction to have both leads on the bottom. I bunny ears the build on my taifun like I build the hurricane. It works a lot better to tuck the cotton down than to cut the cotton on the outside. You can close the top chimney cap all the way down. Just make sure the cotton "shoulders" are pressed up against the wicking holes, and wick tight. I use 90% vg juice and have no issues. It takes thirty watts with no issue, and is around a 1 ohm build. This build works wonderfully in the gs2 also

Also check out the steam tuners matte to clear tank option. It's durable and looks amazing. Don't get the clear tank from fasttech. I ordered a five pack and one fit standard drip tips, only 2/30 tips I tried. 4/5 didn't fit any drip tips I had.

Infinity build

While it isn't as good as some atties it's quite aceptable.
Note the cold ohms vs live ohms in Live View when fired, no problem here.
I cleaned this inside and out prior to setting it back up, did a little modification to the air entrances on the deck's bottom with my Dremel. This is my best performing TGT2 clone to date.

Just the nature of the beast.....I guess. I'm not sure if it's tracking OCD or YouTube reviews but..
I have two Aromamizers, a Serpent, a Bellus and what do you think my go to atty is?
Beast = proverbial unicorn.....I'm still chasing it.
I got a real pile of stuff going here...LOL
edit: ya, there's more on the way.

I had a lot of problems with my opus 200. To the point it had to go back. The first experience with DNA 200 coupled with the required size of the dna200 mods put me off

The clones o tried were both hotcig so
Maybe there are better. That said I got a good price on my authentic. So it was worth it to me personally.

It started tasting awful to me and I thought it was due to using s couple of gem atomizers which do taste better for some juices. By it turns out the pollutant was over stiffing cotton. With one juice I used it had a totally different flavor. Didn't taste like cotton or the juice it just tasted off. I finally reduced the wick and the taifun gt2 is back to flavorful

I actually copied that post
From a different thread and forgot to take out the clone part. Sorry I wasn't trying to come in here and poop on anyone who had a good clone. It was in response to questions about clones in another thread. My bad !

I'm using a gs2 clone right now which probably has slightly better flavor but I find it a pain to build without either dry hits or leaking. I'm using mesh straws as he clone didn't arrive with usable ptfe tunes but I guess I may order the authentic parts kit and use those or something. The downside of the gs2 is it has a lot more throat hit which I'm not always looking for. It's good for 0-3 mg juices but not above that.

Anyway as time pushes on if you see taifun gt2 available for a gold price and can afford it I do thin the build and quality of the vape are very very good compared to the clones. Cleaning it is a pain if you don't have a small air compressor to dry it out.

What clones have come out lately that is lot using the taifun gt2 also like?im jonsing to try something new. Preferably good clone - just for the hobbyist in me. Any clone suggestions ?

The new boxer mod looks like my text temp control device. Nice and pocketable.
