Hello all,

Been vaping almost 1 1/2 years now and been doing nothing but rebuilds for the last year. I run mostly KFL style devices but also have a few Gennies and RDA's.

I just found a new tank that uses Nautilus BVC drop in coils and really like the simplicity. This tank is a hands down flavor chaser! I liked it so much that I bought a second so now I see a bunch of gear that's just going to sit. My question is, how do you store atty's not in use? I was going to clean them all and allow them to dry, dry burn, then re-assemble the atty and put it back into it's box. Should I also remove the coils? Will the Kanthal rust if exposed to the air? The coils are still good and I'd like to be able to just wick and fill on now and then if I find a juice I want to try out.

I plan on keeping my authentic KFL+ and my Link RDA in rotation with these 2 Kabuki tanks but that's about it. So tell me, what do you do with atty's no longer in rotation?

I clean them and new coils and wick them and put them in my addy holder on my dresser and it is ready to go. I have some at 1.5, 1.2 and some at .8. Then one goes down and don't feel like rewicking I just fill one in the stand and I am off and running. I go away for weekend or something instead of taking much I grab a couple wicked tanks and I am off. CHEERS!

Well, here's what I ended up keeping in rotation:
full

It's all usable except for the Sat22 clone, gonna try a new build in that one.

I ended up shelving 2 - EHPro KFL+ v1's and a hardly used Kanger Subtank Mini (never really liked the vape). I'll keep them as back-up but to be honest, I don't have enough "favorite juices" to keep everything running. I already have duplicate flavors with what's built...

Clean 'em good, and let 'em dry good. Then store them under dry conditions. For LONG term storage, they would be best stored in rice or with some sort of silica gel to absorb moisture. Keeping the moisture away is necessary to prevent corrosion.
That's a good idea, I have a few silica packs on hand, thanks!

1: Simplicity:
Nirvana (smile)
2: store stuff not in use:
I got that same problem
Right now it's all jumbled in a box. I did give away a couple items.
3: clean,,, allow to dry... dry burn, reassable, putbackin box
I get twisted thumbs just tyibng to typ that!
4: will kanthal rust in air
I would assume so

Ok so bottom line:
1: backup certain specific items
2: PIF the rest

Thanks, because your post is a reminder to me I got a few things in a box in sealed unopened package I might as well give away

So this all started because last night I had a mod tip over with my brand new Kabuki tank and crack the quartz tank. I went out today ans spent 5 bucks on plumbing parts and built a mod stand and decided it was time to reclaim my desk! I paired it down to just the 5 devices I want to use and have handy on my desk.
full

I put all my misc. tools, syringes, wicking and building supplies, and juices that are in rotation into a basket that sits on my tower PC under the desk, out of site ;)

The vape stand is just a 3" PVC Floor Drain Cap up side down with 2 extra long 3/4" PVC Couplings and one short stuffed in. They fit really snug so it's a nice tight little package. I bought a stainless steel replacement tank today and that's what is on the little 18350 mod in front (it's the same tank that's on the ZNA). The 18350 Ant mod is my work "stealth" vape so the stainless steel tank will wear better than the quarts would have since it broke the first day I had it :(

Lesson learned, run a tight ship lol...

If it's something that I'm not going to use again, I try to give it to someone that will. But there are a few that I keep just becasue. Those I've cleaned to the best of my ability and have them in a box. So far they've not really rusted or deteriorated that I can tell.
Yea, that's what I'm gonna do with the Subtank Mini
