Ok, so I just started learning about vaping a few days ago and I ordered some disposable 510 vaporizers that I have not yet received. After reading through some of the info on this forum, I've decided that I might as well take the plunge and purchase a real unit, if I'm going to truly understand what vaping has to offer. I figure I can always use the disposables for back-up.
Now that I've made that decision, I'm having a hard time figuring out what type of unit is going to be best for me. I know the 510 is popular, but it sounds like the battery life is short and it only produces a so-so vape. Someone suggested it is a good unit for newbies, but after reading about so many people "upgrading" to better models, I'd prefer to skip ahead to a better model, rather than purchasing something that I will soon want to upgrade.
The units I'm seriously looking at are the eGo, the Riva, or the Vapor King.
Not having even vaped, yet, I'm tring to figure out if the Vapor King, with the cartomizer, is more limiting than the models with the atomizers and cartridges separate. I'd like to experiment with different liquids and I'm wondering if that can be done with that style of unit. On the other hand, it seems like the simpler unit might be easier to maintain for someone like me, who has absolutely no clue what they are doing. Two things I really want are a good battery life and a nice, strong vapor.
Please forgive me if my terminology is off- I haven't quite gotten the hang of what everything means, yet. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
