Since today is Memorial Day... here's a drawing in honor of a man that gave his life in service during WWII. A woman brought me two photos... one of her mom who had never remarried and one of her dad, who was killed in action. They had never had a photo taken together before he was shipped out, so her daughter wanted the two photos melded into one as a Christmas gift for her mom. (Yes, I cried while I drew it.)

And then she had me do one of herself and brother... they're so cute!

Inspired by Irish Celtic legends....the Morrigan....able to assume human form or that of the raven....until a time came when she could no longer change.....yes...she has talons for fingernails and toenails....and feathers go up her unseen legs...missing from the photo
is her spear which was tipped with an obsidian arrowhead

She's fascinating!

Sent...probably more than once. My computer is acting up tonight...and ECF seems to have a ....-load of scripts running on these pages.
Wow!! I wish you could come play in my house! You do beautiful work! Was that one a yacht? It had really neat curves and beautiful wood work.

Love those....I think I told you that I spent years sketching and attempting to paint.....was never happy with anything I put on a flat surface.....found out in the end....I needed that third dimension. None of my sketches were ever as good as yours.

Yes, my ship came in, so I papered it. I could only work on weekends on that one due to the other trades (painters/wood stainers, cabinet people, counter top people.) It would get real crowded real fast. One of the more interesting jobs I've done.

Black glass beaded wallcovering. The sheets were 28inches x 9 feet. Sheets weighed about 20 pounds. It took 2 of us 3 days to hang 9 sheets.
