@JCinFLA, is your tank Cracker list the same as the one David linked to?

No, the list I made was from a FL vape shop's website. I looked back through the TFA discussion on here, and found where I'd posted it on p. 611. Then 2 posts below it, Bill's Magic Vapor posted additional info. on ones from the list that he'd tried, AND some interesting info on how to mix them into your eliquid so they won't affect plastic tanks. Here's a link to that page:

I also look for info. on tank crackers as I'm placing orders for TFA flavorings on WL. They're very good about noting it IF it's known to be one of them.

And, where did you get a list of ingredients of your flavorings?

I have the ingredients list for each/all of the TFA flavorings I've ordered, because they're shown on WL's website for each one. I just C&P them into my spreadsheet as I place an order. They'll also usually show it for a flavoring by other manufacturers they carry...if that manufacturer provided the info. to WL.

Zombie thread! I don't have your answer, bwh79, but thanks for waking up the discussion, because I was just thinking about this since I got a doggystyle rta with a pc tank -- my only non-glass or SS tank.

JCinFLA, I can't seem to understand this part from Bill: "When I have a doubt, I use a glass syringe with the offending flavor, added LAST to the flavor mix, added FIRST to the VG and VG Nic."

Does that mean: VG and VG nic (if that's how your nic comes, I guess) first, then flavors that are not tank busters, then tank buster flavor?

And, when to add PG?

Can't help, either, @bwh79 .

The way I read it, tazzle, is to mix the flavors in the syringe with the suspect flavor the last one. Then put that into the VG and nic. So, yes, VG, nic, PG in the mixing vat, flavors in the syringe with the suspect one the last flavor to go in, then that into the vat.

Then again, my solution to the whole issue is to just not use those flavors.

My plastic tanks are long retired. Here's a very short list of flavors that contributed to their demise:

TFA Ripe Banana (murderer!)
FW Black Licorice
TFA Orange Cream (an etcher, not a cracker)
TFA Banana Cream (mild etcher)
TFA Cola Syrup (another etcher)
TFA Absinthe (I don't have definite proof as the tank cracker in question was a blend, but I highly suspect it was the Absinthe.
FW Blood Orange, while not a tank cracker, it will craze (etch into cloudiness) and permanently stain plastic.

My thinking nowadays equates to ALL flavorings being incompatible with plastic tanks, since NONE of my plastic tanks escaped unscathed from my "plastic tank era".

There were (still are?) some good glass replacement kits for older Kayfuns like the 3.1, Lites, etc. though they cut the capacity a bit. Probably still available from Fastech.

Boxes like the rdta box and the one from smok do have plastic tanks in them.
I can tell you Pineapple and cinnamon do cause issues.
Had to replace my rdta box because the tank warped and juices with those flavors were used.
I also wonder if it will cause issues with some squonker tubes/bottles.
