Just wondered if anyone else ever had this happen.
I had a tank that was leaking and no matter what I did, it continued to leak.
Sometimes when this happens, it just needs a new coil even though this is a new tank.
Once in awhile you will get a bad or dead coil even in a new tank.
So emptied the tank, unscrewed the old coil and went to put a new one in.
Started screwing it down and it just kept spinning and wouldn't screw on tight.
Checked to see if the bottom was moving(the post) and it wasn't.
Tried a Halo coil and one of the Kanger coils I have just to see if I could get it to work and neither one would screw down.
Eventually I turned it enough times that when I pulled up to remove the coil, the top of the post came with it and it had a wire sticking out of it.
Makes sense now as to why it wouldn't stop leaking.
Don't want to go to the expense of sending it back or anything, I mean nothing in life is perfect and this is the first bad tank I have had out of the 16 I have received.
Just wondered if anyone else has had this experience.
Thanks,
Cindy
