to be honest i just want try something new , im goin to try to keep the nemesis down a little clouds be to big at work lol . i know for most its a step down but since i started with mechanical mods i jus want try somethin different have this in the car or whatever

A kayfun is a great way to start with RBA's. The base is pretty decent size and you can buy decent clones for relatively cheap. I own both the Russian 91% and the kayfun 3.1 clones. I got the Russian from ebay and the 3.1 from angelcigs. They are extremely low price and very good RBA's. I also own the stillare RDA and man it kicks my ... with flavor. Like a lot of others have said. Its all subjective.
I use the EHPro Kayfun Lite Plus clone. And I use it at work - respectable vapor, but not huge get-me-in-trouble clouds.
how often are you guys changing the cotton/wick you are using on these kayfun ?
the popular one seems to be kayfun lite plus byy........ not tobeco....... forget if its hcigar or ehpro
I change mine about once a week. If you burn the coils you can keep the running for months. Also there are many kayfuns.... Kayfun Lite. Kayfun Lite+, Russian 91%, Russian, Kayfun 3.1, Kayfun 2.1. I have the Russian 91% and kayfun 3.1. Most people prefer the Kayfun Lite+ or the Russian 91% (basically the same exact thing, just slightly different.)
The Kayfun Lite does not have adjustable airflow. The Lite+ Has adjustable airflow but its on the base, whereas the Russian 91% has it on the side.
The Kayfun 3.1 is much like the Russian 91%, but it has an added well at the bottom for juice that drips down the air hole. This keeps your tank from leaking from the airflow valve. Also, it only has a tiny spot for you to fill with a 18 gauge blunt plastic tip bottle (can be quite a pain in the ....)
The Kayfun 2.1 is also known as the Kayfun Mini... Basically a smaller/thinner version of the kayfun lite+.
If you buy a clone a lot of people recommend EHPro.
good info i ended up ordering a ehpro kayfun , i have two green sony batteries already for my nemesis . i read for the innokin vtr they reccommend unprotected batteries , i belive these green sonys are protected battaries. Anyone can guide me towards best battery for this vtr ?
Which sony batteries? I'm assuming they are 18650VTC4's. In which case they work with the VTR... its a bit of overkill but it works. You can buy the Panasonic NCR18650PF's. They work great in my VTR.
Most of the green Sonys are safer than protected batteries and will be fine. I assume they want you to use unprotected IMR (high drain) batteries, which is what a lot of the Sonys are. Do you know which ogre em Sony batteries you have?
they are 18650 3.7v2100mah - are you saying these are to strong ? i belive these are protected not unprotected doubt that should matter tho not sure
one is a SE US18650VTC4 i belive a 3.7v2100mah it says on the sticker , i have another green sony battery with no sticker but i see numbers SE US18650V2 SONY 16
The one that ends in VTC4 is one of the safest batteries you can buy and you can use it in both your nemmy and your VTR. The V2 will be fine in your VTR, but you shouldn't be using it in the nemesis if your coil is less than about 1 ohm or so. They're both fine for your VTR.
sounds good thanks for your help brotha , i been using both on my nemesis the sony battery with the v2 seems to not hit as hard as the vtc4 sony one . it also seems to be a little bit smaller. Havent had any problems yet i dont test my coils i just wrap 5 times with 28 ken wire and vape away
i feel sometimes this nemesis hits to hard lol - dual coil i started with 12mg nic and i am now vaping 6mg nic with no problems. i feel i will enjoy the vtr at times but i know i will always pick the nemesis up at somepoint in the day
This is a VERY bad, and even dangerous, idea. You need to check every coil, every time, before you fire it on a mech mod. Even if you always wrap the same coil, you need to check it. If you accidentally short it out one day and you haven't checked it to catch that before you fire the mod, you could wind up getting your face rearranged for you when the battery overloads.
Mech mods have no protection in them to cover you when you make mistakes. Batteries pack a lot of power into a very small space. If you haven't tested a coil, you should not be using it.
I'd like to second that, and once you get your VTR you will be able to do that; better to build your coil on a regulated mod.
how can you short out a coil ? i heard these green batterys you dont need to worry with .
So your friend set you up with a dual subohm coil... be careful with it a dual 5 wrap on 28 should be around .6-.8 ohms....
did he warn you about the battery and how its not supposed to go below 3.3 - 3.2 volts???
