So before, I could open my ego one mega easily, but one time i accidentally cross-threaded it. After some brute force with pliers, I got it out and it was working flawlessly again. Now, it will just not unscrew. It's not cross-threaded or anything, just perhaps screwed in too tight. I have tried to use the pliers again, but to no avail. Anyone have this problem?

I don't know your tank, but through experience with other tanks, it can be hard to get enough grip.
You may feel like you are putting some force through the turn, but all the force is going to maintain the grip.
A solution that can work well is to wear a Marigold (washing up glove). You'd be surprised by the extra grip.

Ive had this problem with a couple tanks(not the ego1) amd the only thing that got them unscrewed was pushing it together while twisting instead of pulling and twisting. Hope that works for you it helped me with an Atlantis and a VCT
