A couple of the Ego chargers I've used have come apart at the seam just enough to let the core rip out. Even Joytech chargers have done this. This time when I bought a couple of new ones I picked up some 14 inch cable zip ties to see if I could keep it from happening again. Wrap the tail of the tie three times around the charger then thread through the head. You need a pair of needle nose pliers to get it really tight though. Grab the tail with the pliers right against the head and twist the side of the pliers in the direction of the flat part of the head. You can get it really tight this way. Now hopefully these chargers won't fall apart.

Tripple digits half way to home
Tried to use mine the other day in the car. I guess it had gotten hot enough in the car where the little pins on the USB connector got gunked up. Just took a finger nail file and rubbed em a little bit and works just fine now. Tried to take pics but don't have a camera that will show that kind of detail.
