So I've been vaping for about a month now and so far so good... I haven't had any cigarettes other than the few I had left in my pack after my e cig- whoops!, sorry... I mean vaporizer arrived... And I don't miss them, strangely enough... I've found an e liquid supplier that rocks, so I'm good to go (yay team)!
BUT, tanks... I haven't quite found my happy place. Any other newbies wanna help me out?
So far the best I have is a iclear 16. I bought a protank 2 and I'm not enjoying it...
Anyone have any words of wisdom for me?

(im using an e-go c twist and a vision spinner)

love, ms. Crazypants

Never was a clearo fan for the longest. When recently I started sampling some of the more current entries for my daughter's new setup I tried the Vision Vivi Nova, Kanger Evod and Protank 1 & 2, and Innokin iClear 16 and 30.

Being partial to 510-threaded devices, my favorites are the iClear 30 and the Protanks. Satisfactory consistancy, good vapor and flavor production. Not yet on par to what I experience from my cartotanks, but close.

Yeah, I use mainly Protanks for when I am out and about. They are simple fill and vape products. What don't you like about the Protank?

If you like the iClear16, you should check out the Vision Vivi Novas. They are similar, but the regular size holds more juice. I really like them too, but I am in the minority.

My Protank II has been giving me some problems, too. It's fantastic when it works right, but atty heads don't seem to last long for me - maybe a day and a half before they become underwhelming.

The guy at my local shop (legendvapor.com) gave me an iClear 30 to test, and it has worked flawlessly since I got it yesterday. I've vaped through probably 2 tanks without any problems whatsoever. So far, I'm a big fan - despite the lack of removable drip tip and the plastic. An iClear 30 in glass and a "normal" removable drip tip option would make this thing seriously rock.

I am pretty new myself but I got a bad batch of EVODs from FT and then the heads I bought along with them do not fit those, but I digress...I also picked up a couple of iclear 16's and Enjoy those more than the EVODS that work, Need to get some replacement heads for them...I also have a Protank and when it has a Clean head I rally like the Vapor of that, but I think I like dripping, but only have a bubble atty that works as the 510 LR I have dose not taste the same...

As far as clearomizers, I've only had luck with the iclear 16. And they rock! :0) I haven't tried the 30.
I am a carto tank girl. I love the fill and go. As long as you prime it correctly, they are a sure bet for me. (Baditude, thank you for your blogs!! Very very much!)
I am almost at my year mark and there is always so much more to learn. I am actually giving thought to rebuildables (w?) Lol.
I have a pro tank mini on its way,I haven't tried them yet. I do hear there are issues at times with the coils and removing a "flavor" wick helps? We shall see. This is the first bottom coil for me.
My sister had the evods and she had had good luck with them and loves them.

I sure good you find a good set up, and I wish you the best of luck!!
Vape on and vape happy!

I've got vivi novas and protanks. It really depends on the juice I'm using. I love the protank 2 and the way it's built, but for all VG juice(ie Boba's Bounty), it really seems to mute the flavor. In my vivi nova tanks, it works great. Now I have also started rebuilding my own heads for the tanks. It may just be that I'm rebuilding correctly for the vivis and not so much for the protanks.

I do have to say, Boba's in the stock vivi heads doesn't perform so well, I rebuild the heads with 3mm wick double over and it wicks great and gives fantastic flavor. I also slit the little rubber gromets(is that what they are called?) that sit on top of the head.

I've been using EVOD's since they came out. I have 3 and 2 of them have issues where the head doesn't seat well with the base. It leaves a small gap and I'll get leakage. I imagine this is due to cross threading new heads. I've also had problems with heads that don't work out of the box, especially with thicker juices. They have a tendency to leak. When they work, I love them. I just made an order for a Protank II because I bought some citrus heavy liquids. I'd rather just vape from glass rather than plastic. I also prefer a bcc.

Also, I have the feeling I'm getting leakage on the EVODs because I'm underpowering them. I sat on my VV battery and broke it so I'm vaping spare eGo's until my MVP comes in.

My AMP Tanks are #1 and the new Vision Aurora BFT Kit is #2. Both deliver taste and performance identical to manual dripping without the hassle. I don't use cartos because the polyfill tastes nasty to me. I find all clearos mute flavor. I use the ones I have to blow through juices that aren't particular faves.

The Auroras haven't made it to the U.S. yet. Mad Vapes is listed on Vision's site as their U.S. contact. They should have them in a little less than three weeks. Also, Eric at Discount Vapers is looking into stocking the Auroras.
