I've DIY my own juice from the start. Started using Cinnamon flavor in my Nic/PG/VG blend. Got concerned inhaling the Cinnamon might not be all that great a thing to be a doin, so, I dropped the Cinnamon flavor from my next batch. I pretty much sucked on this thing constantly. A day after dropping the Cinnamon, I discovered I'd left the Nicotine out of that batch. Decided. . .who needs it? Not me. That's my story. . .after smoking tobacco cigs for more than 52 years, (2.5 PAD at end), . . .I accidently quit smoking. I certainly wouldn't call myself a typical ecig user. JMHO

Cheers,

I'm not a fan of a big throat hit and I vape 6mg-11mg usually. I hope to eventually decrease to 0 nic but I am around a lot of smokers all the time and it tempts me. I still smoke the occasional cigarette, usually only when I've had a few drinks. But I believe having a little bit of nicotine in my vape helps the craving.

What I do is buy both the level I'm at and the next level down. So, if at 18, I will buy 18 and also 12 of the same flavor. I'll mix 3/4 of the 18 and 1/4 of the 12 for a few days or a week when filling tanks/cartos and then move to 1/2 and 1/2, then 1/4 and 3/4. Works out really well and as you adjust down slowly, you don't really notice the throat hit difference. Then I'll use the 12 mg for a week or two and then buy the next level down and start the downward mixing again. You also don't feel the need to chain vape more just to get more nic. I've had a couple times where I tried a vape of the higher nic levels and don't know how I ever did those, they were too strong now.

I'm very thankful that I started at 18mg and not 24mg is all I have to say. I'm going on almost 2 months of no analogues, and just started having craving for analogues about 2-3 weeks ago so I'm too afraid to step down even though I've been telling myself "next order I drop down to 12mg" since a couple weeks in. I'm not in an eager enough position to drop to 0mg right now, but w/in the next 8 months I'd like to be down to 8mg, but who knows. I'm just happy I've safely removed 99% of the health risk of smoking, and I'm enjoying vaping for now.

I've known people who moved to nic gum/patches for years before "quitting," so whatever works to not smoke analogues I say.

Started at 24mg, moved almost immediately to 16-18mg. Stayed there for a couple of months, then moved to 12mg. Stayed on 12 for six months, then moved to 9. Had to start using 0nic after 8pm to avoid sleep issues. Am now on 6mg during the day, and 0mg at night. January 1, I'll move to 3mg, with no idea how long I'll stay there. I'm torn because some new studies say a little bit of nic is good for memory, concentration...things I definitely need at my age ;)

Eat more veggies. Eggplant, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, tea and cauliflower have higher amounts of nic than some others.

Thats because its an acetylcholine agonist. You should be able to get a similar boost from supplementing with choline, or dmae. Or eating alot of eggs, liver, salmon and sardines (which have choline and dmae). Cranberry has a little choline too. Your body also uses choline in the liver, so its good to get some in.
