Great article, Mazinny; thank you very much! Funny that it mentioned the Buddha's Hand citron, since I just heard of this a few days ago, and it's now sort of driving me crazy that I cannot remember in what context I learned of it.

I recently started diy'ing, and decided to read a bit about this industry, and realized it's really difficult to find information. So many different players, from root manufacturers to compounders, to distributors and redistributors, and ultimately the end flavor suppliers that we buy from, the majority of whom are apparently repackagers and aren't involved in production at all.
