I am mostly into ce2s and hear and notice a muted flavor where your device often has to be broken in from being new. Do you have to go through the same amount of time breaking it in to get back flavor every time you clean it, or is it just on the initial breaking in of the new product? I've cleaned my ce2s (stardusts & fluxomizers) a few times and sometimes it takes a while and other times it doesn't but it could of just been a lot of moisture left in the wick.

Summary: Do you feel the break in time between cleaning and a new ce2 to be roughly equal?

Makes me wonder what are all the causes of needing to break in a CE2 for full flavor.

Welcome , but mostly what is needed on new carto's , atty's , and CE2's , 3's and 4's is to get rid of any primer juice left behind , and to sort of condition the coil . I would think , after cleaning , there shouldn't be a delay . I only clean my carto's and such , with vodka ( no water ) then I blow out the excess fluid , and fill er up , and start vaping . I have never found a reason to wait for it to dry out . The vodka , being alcohol , evaporates , fairly quickly .

If you use water to clean them, which i do, it could definately take a while to vape through that moisture. I usually squeeze the wicks with a micro fiber cloth, gets most of the water out, then a dry burn vaporizes the rest. It does'nt really seem to make a difference whether they're new or just cleaned to me. I usually have them running well in just a couple of puffs, but I do use them in tanks and almost always put a drop of juice on the coil first, and when they're new I give them a slight dry burn to burn off any primer. I have never used the stardusts, just the Fluxo's.
