I don't use the KR808, but I do use cartos for my flavors, except for the tobacco flavor I use as my daily vape. Proving the wisdom of that, I had ordered a new tobacco flavor to try which receives raves. Thinking I had a new daily vape on my hand, I just went ahead and filled up my daily vaping RiVa with the new flavor. As Mr. Murphy could have predicted, it was horrid. And now I cannot get this flavor out of my attie. I have rinsed, I have blown, I have vaped pure PG, I have vaped pure VG, I have vaped a blend of PG/VG, and have blown clouds of vapor from my normal daily vape. But this horrible taste of the bottom of a BBQ grill has embedded itself in the only attie that I use, everything else being in contained in a carto. So there is a wisdom to the separate cartos for separate things. If worst comes to worse and you can never clear the putrid taste from your equipment, all you're out is a $2 cartomizer rather than an $8 attie.
