Tatroes 50w atlas box mod: any owners out there

101 vape has a kit. I think they offer a wire only option but not sure.
I don't trust my skills so I don't see the upgrade in my near future.

Got my Atlas today and so far so good!!! The nautilus hits great now!! One question...can I use my VTC4 in this mod?

Also...has anyone done the 60W upgrade? Is there a manual for the SXi program you put on your PC? I'm not sure what the settings tab does...it looks like it lets you manually set your settings, but they never do anything to my device.

That does look nice in that color. When I looked they only had the purple left, but I guess it wouldn't do for both of us to have the same mod at work....lol

Fairly certain that the difference between the vtc4 and vtc5 is the mah right? Still same amps? If that's true then there shouldn't be a risk to running a 4 in there. Just laws battery life.

Cigtechs said the atlas can't handle the upgrade based upon what yihi said. There was a different upgrade to the 50w setting though that the atlas should be fine with

Yeah I am fairly certain the only difference between the VTC4 and VTC5 is about 500mah.

I've ran my vtc4s in my atlas and the only difference I see is about an hour less vape time compared to the vtc5.
Like I mentioned before, I get a full day of hard vaping from the atlas.
The regulated mods I have are:
Provari v2
MPV
VTR
Vapor shark rdna
And tatroes atlas

My tatroes is my favorite!

Nice! I like your stock of mods!! All I have in regulated form are the MVP2 and the tatroe! My wife would kill me if I had all of those! I always say, "Well, I could go right back to smoking!".

Only one of those I haven't owned is the rdna. Sold them all but the atlas (though I miss my provari with kayfuns combo). In a couple weeks I'll raise you a dual 18650 ranger though.

rdna is nice and small!!! I like the Atlas's smoother switch and the gravity sensor/menu system better though.

Funny you mention the Ranger! I was pulling the trigger on that one through reddit until my wife screamed at me "NO MORE FLIPPIN' ECIGS-PLEASE!!"

I've been smoke free since 09' and after I figured out what I would save on analogs anually, that I would use a percentage of that when I wanted a new mod. I was good for a while but have definatly been out of control lately.

Still want the Ranger though. The little upgrades (3d printed batt sled/cover and switch options) are nice.

A lot of the custom made ones will have a lead time. I'm on a wait for one that I've been waiting on for two months.

That's the one I'm waiting on. Seems to be one of the top build qualities from the modders over there.

Yeah I have taken a look at the Ranger. Looks like an amazingly well built box. I am looking into a SX350 box for starters and then I might go for a Ranger or Truck. Although I will probably look at the Raptor 120's next.

I also am following reddit for the next batch of rangers. Just missed the 9/2 window but the second batch with his new tweaks will most likely be even better.

If you are looking for an sx350 mod and can get hold of an Atlas then do it!!!

This sucker rocks and the build quality is wonderful. I'm firing rda toppers anywhere from 0.3 ohm/30 watts and my rdtas from 1.5 to 2.5ohms. The atlas just works perfectly ALL the time. I will eventually be getting a ranger, but since I'm getting "full days" of vaping from my Atlas, I am in no rush.

Guess I'm kind of in my vaping happy place right now!!!!

Yeah I actually just commissioned an SX350. The Atlas were all out of stock and I had kind of wanted one with dual 18650 anyways. krobeson and I actually work together, so we will get to compare SX350 boxes. I may be coming back crying wishing I had just gotten the Atlas, but who knows.

I am really hoping they take the SX350 to 80-100w and then I will never have to own another device again....lol

One small annoyance that I've experienced with the Atlas is that occasionally, when I press the fire button to take a vape, it locks the mod instead. I'm doing a single long press, but it registers as three clicks instead.

Hmm.... I wonder if that is an issue with the chip or the Atlas. If it's the chip it could maybe be fixed with a firmware update. Might be worth figuring out how to submit some feedback on it.
