Tears for Cleo

As I tucked my little torti on the bed last nite with me for our last nite, I couldn't help but think about what a wonderful life she had.

My Cleo (pic in album) was 15 years old and picked out with the help of my beautiful neice at her neighbors house, the lady who fostered abandoned animals for the local SPCA (whom we later called "Mrs. Kravitz" for her ability to nose into everyone elses business....lol)

Cleo was a runt and never weighed above 8 pounds, she later became a foster mother to my maine coone who would later himself end up weighing a whopping 22lbs. She was a loving and kind furbaby who was always there for me. Today she went to the rainbow bridge and I can't help but thinking about how much better she must feel.

As I pulled into the driveway and feeling very lost, I unloaded her crate from the car, a postal worker pulled into my driveway and said I have a package for you......it was my secret santa pif.....

I don't know who you are yet, God bless you for all of the fun and wonderful things in this package, it was certainly a bright spot in this girls day.... Vicki

I know how hard it is Vchick. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my beloved Tarzan a year ago on 4th of July. He was only a year old but spoiled rotten. He was my bottle baby but caught a cold that, no matter what vet looked at him, he never came out of it. Chest x-ray's showed a lung disorder. At least God gave him to me for a year.

I know how hard it is to lose a furbaby. I have lost 3 in the passed 4 years, and it is heart breaking. They are all at the rainbow bridge now along with cleo, frolicking and free, young and healthy. We will see them again someday. Hugs to you!

Vchick, I too am so sorry for your loss. I lost both of my little fur-babies in 2005 & 2006, after 16 and 21 years, respectively. All of our thoughts are with you.
