you’ll like the DMM meters and watts instead of microscopes and dB’s.
Have Mike get you a Fluke 114, 116 or 117, they have a Low-Z [LoZ] that prevents reading “phantom voltages” when reading unloaded (no atty attached) voltages, can help troubleshooting. The Fluke 233’s are cool, the meter readout comes off where the probes connect, great in the field but on a bench you can always position your meter so you can see the readout while handling the probes.

the Rat Shacks and even the Harbor Freight's are all a 'normal' shop or vapor needs BUT troubleshooting electronics at the bench the Lo-Z is nice and the 233 is a lot less than an 87 everyone takes in the field and it's so sexie taking the readout with you while tuning a big machine. sexie about a meter:facepalm:, I'm tooo old to be talking like that :oops:
