Oh wait, did you say you screw the top pin and battery link of the top cap fully in? If you do that it becomes shorter right? You can lengthen them by unscrewing halfway, no?

His problem looks like coming from 510 connector where the positive post does not touch the atty. This is very strange as your mentioned KF has a decent 510 connector length and should fit well.

Hammer, before you sand off that delrin, just to make sure if we are understanding the right problem, just screw the delrin then the atty after that the first pin, does it goes all the way in or it stops at some point? If this is the case then your 510 connector is fine, which means that battery connector is not secured and as Jarmun mentioned, you will need to unscrew the 2nd nut to get a good connection. Easiest way to test this is when you have put everything together, try to shake the tube and check if you can hear the battery rattling or shaking, if it does then you have to loosen the 2nd screw more till you get no battery rattle which in this case you will have a secure connection. However, if this is not your issue, then sanding off the delrin is probably easiest way.

Pin too short...

1) Too short - Pin not touching The rda
2) Too Short - Pin not touching the Battery

1) choose either one
a) If pin not touching RDA/tank - File the insulator thinner. Usa sandpaper No1000 or 800.
b) If pin not touching RDA/tank - Use a flat head screw driver and unscrew the RDA's 510 connection

C) If still can touching - use both

2) If Pin not touching battery (rattling sound) - turn the copper pin looser

bro, the 2nd pin in the pix screw to the top, max.
the bottom pin (extreme right) only does the contact with the batt, and its separate, so doesn't matter

the insulator (black thing) screw in to the max as well.

end up, stupid design. the screw to touch the atomizer is too short....
