People prefer bad news and like to be the first to say see I told you so as if to justify their intelligence, just good old fashioned ignorance
Exactly. Some people like to go contrarian for the same reason. Makes them feel smart when the very few times they happen to be right.

Well, sure. If you predict disaster - like stock markets or elections, you tell people you were right. If you were wrong, most people don't remember.

Somehow that has not been my experience. If I was right, somebody else always wants to take the credit for it. And if I was wrong, well, they never want to let me forget it either!

I have frequently been right on some of my psychotic predictions. Like, some really complicated ones too. The problem is sometimes I don't have all the CONTEXT so I don't like, apply it to the right thing. Etc.

I don't mention it when I'm right, I try not to remind people of when I am psychotic they lived through it ONCE. It's not kind,

Sometimes I think Nostradamus was like that, kind of batpoop crazy, but like, maybe psychotically accurate, just applying it to the wrong thing.

Also, there is always the possibility of blind CHANCE there is THAT.

I am looking forward to NO FURTHER psychotic future predictions, they never benefit me much it's not like I get powerball numbers burned into my brain or anything.

I so don't actually know what I think about predictions and all that, actually but I can tell you psychosis is NO fun. EVERYONE tells me I am wrong when I am psychotic but to be fair they are usually telling me I am wrong about EVERYTHING, which may also be equally accurate.

The husband did say during one particularly grim hospitalization where I was being, well, tortured, I was pulling my hair out one by one so they finally let him touch me because he yelled at all the staff because they were like, "Get lost, she is too sick to see you" and he was like "UM YOU CAN KEEP HER IN HERE LEGALLY BUT KEEP ME OUT? GET OUT OF MY WAY," etc. well I sat on his lap for like a half hour telling him all about the conversations I had with his ancestors and stuff and he said I was not only 100% correct, but it was information I could not possibly have known. I have no memory of this at all. But I like to imagine it is true.

I'm with you against this garbage, ugly fat lady stirring the pot, but I think she's a hired puppet. Seeing a lot of this stuff in the mainstream press, on YouTube and in social media, I feel sure the other shoe is about to drop. Bad regulations coming. Rather than clamp down on sales to children, nanny will take away my vape after I've stayed off cigarettes for nearly seven years. Factories will continue to spew dangerous omissions that endanger her alleged asthmatic offspring, cars will idle in lines wrapped around fast food buildings, filling her car with emissions while she and her asthmatic kiddie wait to have their burgers handed to them out of a window, leaf blowers will send plumes of pesticides, herbicides, settled emissions particulates and animal waste up the snout of her precious while he plays in the yard, but she will move on to her next blabbering job, trying to wipe out the most successful, arguably the only successful, smoking cessation method ever known. Follow the money. Someone wants gobs of taxes from us, or someone wants to wipe out competition with their unsuccessful smoking cessation schemes, or someone wants to wipe out competition with their poisonous tobacco industry.

CASAA included this in their advisory email:

While federal officials are unable to point to a specific brand or contaminant in the samples they’ve received so far, reports from health departments in CA, NM, NY, PA, UT, and WI link the lung illness to unlicensed THC oil.

I feel somehow it's encouraging to have that included in news going out. At least they're not screaming "children are vaping anti-freeze!!".

I,m really fed up with this, I smoked for years then went to vaping, no more coughing, I live in the uk and in my neck of the woods its extremely anti-vape, I make my own juice, don't buy any commercial stuff. One thing I'm proud of is my son quit smoking, I bought his mods and tanks for him and supply his juice, recently he said hey dad I feel so much better than when I was on the stinkies, so good result

That about covers it.

India bans e-cigarettes... citing a “vaping epidemic” among young people. India bans the sale of e-cigarettes, imposes fines and jail time

India has 106 million adult smokers, 12% of the world's smokers. 10 million die each year due to tobacco in India. ~WHO

And cigarettes are sold freely / openly in the streets. Doh! :sneaky:
