I woke up today, and everything was normal, and went about my morning at work, and still kosher. Then I had some mcdonald's and I just could not shake the feeling of wanting an analog. Like it's killing me...I don't know what it is. I cranked my pv up to 4.7 and threw the strongest nic I have in and vaped till I got a nice rush, but it was still a close call...I'm so grateful I have a PV that can bring me back from the brink like that, but still....scary. I guess that's why I've written this post. ECF has kinda been my moral support system, and I need you guys to remind me that I don't need an analog.

TSH, try KeyTweak. I'm currently using the CAPS LOCK for my 'A' key.

I've been at this point this past week as I've been replacing my nic as I run out with 12mg down from 24....think I need to go to 16 or 18....I hate that feeling you describe.....hang tough.....:toast:

I tried making large leaps like that to no avail. I found myself vaping CONSTANTLY. I have since gone down in nic by 2 mg increments max. Down to 8 just this week and going strong.

I had an evening like that a while ago. I hadn't had an analog in 3 1/2 months (over 5 months, now!) I had the urge like you couldn't imagine (or maybe you could!) I was vaping my usual 18 mg juice & I really had to chain vape 24 mg juice for a while. I concider myself very lucky that my wife was out with my car. Nearest place is over 2 miles from my house & it was cold. So, others have their moments, too. You have to do what you can to stay off the stinkies with vaping. If you relapse once, chalk it up as little side trip, not a failure. Chances are that analog will taste so bad you won't do it again. That'll be a lesson learned.

Yeah I'm okay now, the craving's passed. To be honest what really saved me was my provari...The whole time I'm like 24mg isn't cutting it, this is terrible. Then it hit me, you have a provari you idiot. Cranked the sucker up to 5.0 and it helped alot. Then when I went to visit some friends, I went out with the smokers while I vaped, and came back and sat myself down right between two of my friends who had just had a cigarette. The smell was nauseating, but I sat there to remind myself that I would smell like that if I smoked. It was horrible...Funny enough when I went to meet them, I first came in and sat down, and a non-smoker friend sits up and he's like.....do you smell chocolate mint....I just raised my hand...guilty:)

Fast food and cigarettes must be a strong trigger for you. It's good that you noticed it, and it will help you prepare for it. Knowing what might trigger that reaction can help you stay strong and not get caught unawares.

Yeah, when I smoked, there was nothing I loved more than a mcdonald's cig...I realized why this never came up earlier while I was vaping. Over the last month, I had cut fast food completely out of my diet to use that money for my provari. I couldn't justify spending 11 bucks on a meal, when that could be 30ml of juice. But I had a coupon today, so I thought I would treat myself. Well at least I know to look out for it in the future.

Eating McDonalds is like dining on cancer itself first of all. That food is so bad for you. I am glad you were you able to get by your craving though. I have been vaping for a little over 7 months now I guess. I have gone from 36mg to 18mg over that time. Every time I get a craving for a cigarette I look at the release papers from the last time I went to the emergency room because I couldn't breathe. I had to have three breathing treatments, steroids, antibiotics, and a puffer for breathing relief. That is when I went straight vaping. I can't even stand the smell of analogs anymore. When people are standing outside a door and I have to walk through that smoke I just think to myself how I wish they would follow the rules and stay at least 20 feet away from the main doors!!! Anyways stay strong, keep finding your triggers, and do your best stay analog free! Good Luck!!!

Tonythetiger its normal to have urges like that and when you have them never lose sight of your goal. Your goal is to quit analogs.

My third week of no death sticks was awful, just like you described and when those thoughts consumed my mind I would vape until it went away. Every morning I tell myself I will not smoke today, but I'll vape instead. So far its working.

Stay focused.

Wow, Tony did not ask for your opinion on his eating habits. Your way too judgemental and I hope I never cross paths with you in life. We would not get along as I know your type way too well.

Have a nice day.
