Why do we love vaping so much??

1. I can vape as much as I want without compromising my health
2. It is (comparably) very cheap, especially using DIY juice
3. Flavors!
4. My weakest component with regards to longevity of usage is a 13650 3000mah, with a 2 day lifespan, vs. half a day for a pack of cigs
5. Vapers have a solid community & frequent conventions
6. I like our vendors, as opposed to my burning hatred of tobacco companies
7. The choices of vendors, PV's, accessories, and juices are nearly endless; free market ...
8. I can vape ANYWHERE; even if people don't like it I can do it without them ever knowing ;-)
9. I can hoard vape supplies lasting a year or more (juice, cartos...etc); cigs go stale quickly
10. My car and person smell like toasted almond: a known scent of attraction to females. Cig smoke is not attractive.

When I was in grad school, one of my professors became ill. He was a heavy smoker, and when he returned to work he was supposed to have quit, but he would bum cigarettes still. We were all smokers, students and teachers alike. Another prof quit in fellowship, they were old friends. I remember talking to him once about it, he'd not smoked for some weeks. He said it was the hardest thing he'd ever done, and that even after that time he still wanted a cigarette just as much as ever. I remember the look on his face, real suffering. And I thought then that I would never be able to quit, I would never be able to steel myself to that, to go on though each day wanting a cigarette and not being able to have one, ever.

I loved smoking. I loved sitting and staring at nothing, smoking and thinking. Nothing else did that for me, until vaping. It's not the same, there isn't the same acute hunger followed by exquisite satisfaction, but it is fun, where cigarettes were not fun, it is tasty, where cigarettes were whatever, and it is now, where cigarettes are (surprise!) not now. Not again.

With my job it can be hours in between vapes, and I still get that hardcore nic craving as I did with stinkies. It is no different, just a different form of nicotine absorption.

You know how you get when you go a long time without an analog when you're hooked on them, your entire body just craves the nicotine. I can't really explain it to someone who's never been hooked on cigarettes but you guys know what I mean.

With vaping, I really just enjoy it. My body never gets that feeling that cigarettes gave me where my whole body begs for a smoke break.

I think one of the main reasons why you do not crave the vape as much as cigarettes is because you were not really craving Nicotine as much as the other chemicals the Chemists were putting in them.

I can go hours without a vape. I honestly believe it was all the chemicals in cigarettes. I was addicted to the crap more than i was addicted to nicotine.
