Yep, and Marlboro revived the practice in the eighties and nineties. We got a set of luggage with Marlboro points, and were on the way to getting some other stuff. I believe the "gubbment" put a stop to the program in one of their "this is making smoking too attractive" sweeps. Don't quote me on that, though, it may have been Philip Morris themselves who stopped it. But it surely did stop suddenly.

I remember those...I got my dad a grill set and my brother still has my keyring with a bottle opener on it....

Doral did the tops thing...collect the logo from the package top and send in so many for a free carton...

To the OP, I don't think your questions are out of line but rephrase them. I believe you are just curious and not intending to start your own company...it's too big of a pain.

As far as sales, I love them now that I've finally found how wonderful the premium cool carts are. Just waiting on a sale for juice and carts together. Hint...hint.

A couple of things first... I say what I feel, when I feel the need to say it. I don't care if people like what I say or not. If nothing else, at least I have the balls to say it rather than beat around the bush or make it politically correct.

2nd, I love dealing with V4L and have had nothing but positive things to say about them, both here and with others. I've been vaping for only a month but I've spent over $700 with V4L, so that should say something about what I feel about them. Their customer service has been first rate and I am completely satisfied with everything I have gotten from them and the excellent customer service and fast shipping that has been my experience.

finally, I will be happy to rephrase my original question because it seems to have provoked a response that was completely opposite of the original intent. And in the spirit of me saying what I feel, was rather uncalled for.

I absolutely stated in the 1st sentence that I wasn't looking for any secrets... I am just curious about the business and what Steve and co go through to bring us the envelopes that we all PATIENTLY do wait for on what seems to be a regular basis.

There are so many companies out there and so many products available that I just wanted some insight as to why we see the selection of products we see on the V4L website and for myself, to get an appreciation of how hard V4L work and what they have to go through in order to give us what we all seem to love.

Nothing more, nothing less.

That was IT.

first! let me give you a hug! *hug*

ok now let me say that the guys in this forum can let the claws out sometimes. They are sometimes too quick to judge and it bothers me. having said that (shame on you family! be nice rarr!) Welcome! Im glad you are loving V4L. The big thing is that this company is totally innovative. They have their hands in the latest technology and wont settle for anything less than top notch for their customers. I dont know all the details to all their dealings but I do know they try to be the best they can be!

In the grand scheme of things, I think the cow got a bum wrap.

I quite agree. After all, it was ol' Lazy Larry that left the lantern in the shed. I mean, COME ON, a lit oil-filled lantern? In a place full of straw? Around large, lumbering creatures that don't see all that well to begin with? Hmmph.

To the OP: I understand your curiosity, share some of it myself, and am sorry that your intentions were so misinterpreted. Please forgive us?

To dear Snow Dragon: Snow, are you feeling alright these days? Is the situation getting worse for your loved ones in Japan? :(

For heaven's sake, the original poster's questions were perfectly legitimate. So far, I don't see a legitimate response; just a lot of unwarranted reprimands.

V4L is a *business* and this is their communication forum. It's where these sorts of questions SHOULD BE ASKED... and answered if appropriate.

Sheesh.

For real??? You saw nothing but reprimands??? I know my response was in no way a reprimand...nor Keyz, MK, or Nevada.....can't remember everyone else that WAS NOT reprimanding....sorry

Actually, I'm good. I asked the question I wanted and even rephrased it...

I got a hug, which I enjoyed clover... thank you.

keyzygirl, thank you for your informative response.

Those who recognized the questions for what they were, you have my gratitude.

Now, I'll wait and see if the people I actually posed the question to, will answer. If not, oh well. It doesn't change my opinion of a company that has taken care of me very well.

Never asking a question, will never get you an answer

I don't even view the reprimands as unwarranted.... It's a situation where someone asked questions that could be taken the wrong way, and took it upon themselves to speak for everyone..... There's certain topics where that's acceptable (like when anyone of us says WE're here to help...), but most times it just isn't... There are a lot of individuals in this room (one of it's greatest assets), so speaking for everyone is by no means a wise decision.... Sometimes it can be ignored, but we all have a breaking point.... Some handle it by taking a sabbatical, some lash out, etc......

I very clearly stated that I wasn't looking for confidential business information in the OP. That my post wasn't read properly or completely, wasn't my problem, and IMHO, makes at least one comment unwarranted. Nor was I looking for retail 101... I was simply curious to know what the owners face in this type of business since there seem to be a number of posts of people asking where and why on products.

In the future, I will make absolutely sure that I confine all my comments to be in the 1st person (as in me and I). I didn't realize what a horrible mistake I made.
