I was a die-hard heavy smoker, over 2 packs a day for 40 years! My niece, 19 years old, lives with me and started smoking. It upset me greatly. I didn't want her to go where I've been, but there was no talking her out of it.

She asked me one day if we could get her a vaporizer, and she showed it to me on the internet. I took one look at it and recognized it as drug paraphenalia, but I didn't tell her no. We sat down together and searched on vaporizers and personal vaporizers.... and found e-cigs.

Long story short, I ordered DSE801's for both of us, and lots of flavors of liquids. She quit analogs immediately and I almost did. They arrived on April 20. Yesterday I had 2 analogs, and today none.

I can breathe so much better, don't get winded when I go up stairs, can walk a whole lot farther, feel better, no coughing in the middle of the night or when I wake up.

Life is SO much better. I thought I was doing it for her, but it has benefitted me GREATLY.

I'm a very happy vaper.

yea, I'd tried all of the stuff that was supposed to help you quit..The chantix I was told made your cigs taste bad = you don't want one.. I had to laugh, I said, gf I've been switching brands off and on since I was 14..I no longer can taste..Do ya really think that would stop me? lol

Besides, as a heavy smoker of ultra lights. I knew it was the hand to mouth habit that had me bad..Not the nic.... I was on my way to work one morning and a girl called into a popular radio show talking about how 2 of her family members had quit using the "electronic cig" ..Bells went off in my head...I raced home, hit the net searching and landed here....

Because I hate everything about cigarettes except playing with the smoke and destressing. I hate the smell, and my girlfriend hates the ashtray mouth. but smoking is where my mind automatically goes when i am upset or overworked. (all day everyday :-/ lol) so I am hoping these will hit the spot, and be more enjoyable for me.

I also, did not plan on totally quitting. I actually enjoyed smoking. Or thought I did. I bought my penstyle thinking it would be a novel little gadget that maybe, just maybe would take the edge off while I was with my grandchildren, as my daughter (their mom) hates the smell of smoke on the kids.

I enjoyed the tastes of the different flavored liquids so much that I did not even miss the "real" things. Now I can not stand the taste of a "real" one at all. And it has only been about 3 weeks!
