Hi everybody I'm Dale I've been vaping off and on for a few years. Till recently I've been vaping mouth to lung now I'm vaping direct lung a couple of days ago I bought a Joytech egrip II I really like it so far it has a temp. control feture along with many others. Could somebody explain it to me?

You can set the watts as before and also set a temperature limit. In watts mode i never go above 20 watts on my 1.3 ohm builds. In TC mode I set watts at 30 and put a 400 degree temp limit. That ramps up the heat faster without burning the wick. I use stainless steel wire so I can use watts mode or temp control. Kanthal only works in watts mode. Titanium and nickel wire only work in temp mode.

Temperature Control could better described as temperature limiting. You set a maximum temperature and when the mod calculates that the coil is at that temp it backs off the power to maintain it. This can prevent burnt cotton, scorched juice, and provide a more consistent vape experience.

More like full auto (temp control) vs automated manual (VW). Manual would be a mech .

Actually more like cruise control, set the temp/speed and it stays the same. Gas Pedal/VW button, the more you press the gas pedal/the longer you hold the fire button, the more you accelerate/allow the coil to keep heating, ultimately getting too hot a vape or too fast on the cop's radar.

what is everybody go to Tc wire why and what safety concerns should one be aware of when building, vaping, dry burning/cleaning?

My preferred TC coils are SS316L at the present time because they deliver the smoothest coolest vape I have had up until now. It is not recommended to get Stainless red when you are dry firing them.

Another vote for 316L. Easy to work with, affordable (from Temco), good in power or TC mode. I do dry burn lightly for cleaning, low pulses without a big glow and then rinse. I have the same Claptons going for 3 months now on my 2 ADV tanks. I have no other particular safety concerns with it.

More like just another method of vaping, need to try it yourself to find out if it improves or offers some or any benefit to you.

If you're satisfied with your set up as it is, stick with it.
