Tenergy RCR123A dead after I dropped my Prodigy

So this is twice now that I have dropped my Prodigy V3 on the floor and both times it wouldn't vape anymore. Last time I just put in new batteries and it worked fine but now I don't have any new batteries to try. Has this happened to anyone else?

I put the batteries back on the charger today and when the charger said fully charged I tried them but I could only vape for a few seconds at a time then it would die as if it wasn't getting a connection and not as if the battery was dying because when it did work for a minute or so it worked well.

Take it apart, see if the contact screw needs adjusting.

Screw is fine, must need new batteries I guess. Can't believe I'm stuck with the horrible Vapor King until an order arrives.

newf ... when you dropped it, did it hit the switch? If so, there is a strong chance you MAY have dented the batteries. If this happens, you have to add a washer to the switch to lengthen the throw and "reach" the dented batteries

give that a shot!

I would put a meter on your fully charged battery and check the DC voltage. You do have a mutimeter, right?

I don't have a multimeter but I'll try adding a washer.

Added the washer that came in the little baggy with my V3 and we have power! Took it off again and nothing, added it again and power again. Finally a decent vape for today. Thanks guys for the help.

yeah ... you're batteries were dented! keep the washer in until you start a new set of batteries, then you won't likely need it anymore. always keep that little washer handy though!
