I've experienced this for several days now and as I stated in one thread, a page refresh sometimes takes me backward instead of refreshing the page.Gateway timeouts and 30 seconds refresh make it very(almost impossible) difficult to use.
504's, page lags, double posts, replies freezing, and generally pitiful slowness! These are all unique to my beloved ECF... and I judge this by my activity on many Adobe forums and several of the largest "deal" sites on the webz, for starters.
There must be more to this than our affected computers because mine is plenty good enough for video processing and PhotoshopCS5.
We need better answers, pretty please?
Yes I agree Calamity, answers, not reasons why, ratios, math class, computers 101...just simple reasonable answers that we all can understand and look forward to a remedy to help the forum...
(Please don't ban me or close this thread. I am not trying to cause trouble)

Basically the same set up here as well and having the same issues with ECF. This is the only place I frequent with the lag and 504 errors.I have a 30mbps internet connection, 16Gb system ram and a 3.2 Ghz processor...it cannot possibly be my machine.

cj, congaman is not alone in having no problems; but there are way too many of us who do. i really believe it's the luck of the draw through which of ecf's servers you connect.
I read somewhere on ECF that we have reached 100,000 registered users. Maybe the boat is full and the motor won't push it anymore (metaphorical analogy intended).
