Is that with the Shaddow tank? Not really a fan of that tank, but if it is new, remove the coil and wash the tank thoroughly with dish soap, rinse well and allow to dry. You might also want to switch out the coil to a new one.

I've tried my shaddow tank a few different times, but always found it a bit off tasting. IMO, it uses thicker wire, so takes more wattage to heat-up. Just different from my normal style. It's still usable...just not my favorite.

I just bought one of these, and I have noticed a chemical taste. Is there a way to lessen or get rid of this?
The first and most powerful argument for dripping is the taste and flavor of the e-juice. I believe the flavor of the e-juice is more evident/true when dripping. The e-liquid is not forced to sit for long periods in a tank or cartridge nor is old juice mixed with new juice. The juice that is dripped into the atomizer is burned up during that session so nothing remains.

Hi sloRyderjoe. Welcome to the ECF.

I have a Tesla Stealth 40W. Really Like the Mod. Perfect for On-the-Go. Liked it so much I bought a 2nd one.

That said, the Shadow Tank that came with it was (IMO) So-So at best. I run my Tesla 40w with a Kanger TopTank Mini. It fits perfectly and the TopTank Mini is (once again, IMO) a Much Better Tank.

I would do what Grimwald suggested. Take out the Coil Head and give the Entire Tank a good washing.

BTW - Whenever you Wash Out a Tank or any type of Atomizer, it is a Good Idea to Plug the Drain in the sink. I have had more than one O-Ring come off and then go down the Drain.
