This is important not just for Hawaii. It makes it harder for the "everyone else is banning it/taxing it" arguments to gain traction elsewhere. If someone comes up with that argument, there's the immediate comeback "But Senator Ige of Hawaii opined that treating e-cigarettes as equivalent to cigarettes for taxation purposes is problematic".
thank you everyone that helped us win this by sending in emails, testimonies, phone calls, faxes and talking to the reps. We could not have done it without you.
And just because we won this one does not mean we will stop either. Volcano has a big community on our forum and chatroom, any and all call to actions we get from CASAA, and any other bill or ban related to ecigs we hear about we will get out to our community, via all our social networks.
