Ok i tested the lil' Chuck loaded and unloaded...with a 3.5 ohm atomizer...but i have NO other cr123a battery mods i can compare it too...AND there was a weird disparity in the numbers
Test 1
3.96v Unloaded
3.57v loaded
Percentage of Change 9.848 % decrease
Resistance of Battery + mod = 0.382352941 Ohms
Test 2
3.92v unloaded
2.97 loaded
Percentage of Change 24.235 % decrease
Resistance of Battery + Mod = 1.11952862 Ohms
Test 3
3.87v unloaded
3.58v loaded
Percentage of Change 7.494 % decrease
Resistance of Battery + Mod = 0.283519553 Ohms
Test 4 Different Battery
4.23v unloaded
3.98 loaded
Percentage of Change 5.91 % decrease
Resistance of Battery + Mod = 0.219849246 Ohms
So because of these numbers i'm inclined to throw out the middle number...i was kind hoping for a more steady number....But this is what i got...soo if i throw out test 2 i get an Average Battery + Mod Resistance of 0.29524058 ohms...
NOW Compared to the PureSmokers Post about his Loaded and unloaded Voltages(EDITED out everything BUT the Protege, since my lil' chuck is 3.7v like the Protege) ...The whole post is here
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-device-under-load-prodigy-other-devices.html
i don't know the Ohm load of the Atomizer he used...but i *believe* it was a 901 and i tested with a 901 also
Posted this in the Resistor Thread ... Thought it could help others out wondering what type of voltage they are truly getting at the atomizer
Here's the Breakdown:
Protege: (Battery - (1) Tenergy 14500 - 900mAh - About 95% fully charged)
At Atomizer -- 3.97v
Under Load (True Voltage) -- 3.77v
Percentage of Change 5.038 % decrease
HUGE ASSUMPTION: *IF* his Atomizer was 3.5ohm as mine measured to be...his
Resistance of Battery + Mod = 0.185676393 ohms
I'm going to retest Everything in a week or so when i get my Xhaler..I just don't really trust these numbers...
