LOL, that is hilarious about the noob, salem!! I wonder how he is going to order juice or anything else without giving out his address? He must have some ex-wives looking for him or something.

Gosh, I wonder what the birds, bee's and varmits did before there was salem? Ice water baths!!!

Too cool! (No pun intended ... okay, so there WAS a pun intended!)

Oh, and I have a revised weather forecast for here in Yeast Texas .... 90 degrees!!! Eat your hearts out over there on the East Coast!!

TT

I know, TT. But those birds and animals are more like outside pets to me. They have given me so much pleasure and entertainment over the years that I really enjoy doing little things for them.
I have had the pleasure of observing them raising young, courtship, caring for mates, crazy antics and I truly just enjoy them all. As much of their habitat that is being decimated daily by us humans, I like to feel that I am at least able to give a little but back to them. Call me crazy if you want to :p

Salem my dentist prescribed a form of penicillin once. I got home and checked it... good thing I did since I'm allergic to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!8-o

You have to watch them! They did ask me before giving me the Rocephin Injection if I had an allergy to it. I am not allergic to any of it that I know of.

Luckily it's only penicillin that I'm allergic to....at least that I know of anyway.

The scary part is not knowing until you take something. When my allergist taught DH to give me the shots at home, they gave me a script for an Epi Pen in case I ever had a severe reaction and went into anaphylactic (sp?) shock lol

I found out that steroids are used for pnuemonia too so I may have overreacted a bit :) I just don't like them. they keep me awake. make me hungry and make me cranky!

I almost forgot! For those of you that know/remember our dear friend Stifle, he really made my day today. I have not heard from him in months. He heard about the storms on the east coast (he is on the west and we all look alike to him lol) and PMd me to make sure that all was well with me. I thought that was very sweet of him :)

I can see, hear and feel the lightening and thunder in the distance and am praying that it does not circle around my house. Again. Yes, I know that I am talking to my self but it is the steriods dammit!

Send me some thunder and lightening, please :D Throw in some rain for good measure.
I didn't know talking to oneself was a side-effect of steroids.... I just thought crazy people did that :p

Please send the rain/storms this way. LOL We are having a drought. :(
I don't like steroids either. I know we have to check blood sugar-accucheck at work. They claim that steroids will raise blood sugar readings.

Yes, my mom has to keep an eye on hers when she is on steroids. I have had some highs and lows over the last few days. Funny thing is that Levaquin also causes blood sugar to spike/drop. Of course it can also make your tendons rupture  And that can happen for up to two months after you stop taking it. No wonder why I never read the inserts!

It really made my day! I have a few friends here that seem to disappear. I will still send them Pms every once in awhile to let them know that I am thinking of them just in case they come back:)

I know. If you read the insert on Ibuprofen you would never take it again lol

They have to list every possible side effect no matter how slight the risk is.
My mom reads them and decides not to take her meds all of the time
