Don't give up techno; although I know that is easier said then done. After going to umpteen Drs and specialists, I finally went to one 5 years after I had first gone to the Dr knowing that something was going on that I had no control over that came up with what was the cause of some of my symptoms. When I first went to Dr, I was told that I was just getting older and couldn't expect to function like I used too...Yah, right....

They told my mom the same story. Your getting older that is why you are having pain. My mom lived in Springfield, Mo and when she told me that...I hoped into my car, drove 632 miles and took her to the emergency room...I raised a little hell with them and told her what to say to have a echo and a numerous cat scans performed at the hospital. It turned out she had Non Hodgkin lymphoma the size of a grapefruit by her heart. She told her primary " Its not part of aging, its frinkin cancer"!

Yep, I do like to use laughter to ease the pain...so to speak!
I find that keeping your sense of humor at the Dr. office makes them nicer to you too!

Hey everyone!!! I was watching TV with the wife and had me another little, tiny Pokey nap and now I'm all refreshed and ready to get after it again.

Boy, it seems like we all have some ills, ailments, or have somebody in the family we're concerned about.

But its really something what some people have to go through just to make it through this life. I'm not worried about me ... 2ndChance is organ-compatible with me, so if I have an organ go south I know I can always get one there. In fact, there's one I've got my eye on now ...

Well he is 24 and basically disabled due to this condition. Plus with the depression. He is getting his wisdom teeth 3 extracted but cannot go under anesthesia or anything close to alter his breathing.

My sons are around that age too. It's amazing to me how many of their friends are on anti depressants - so young, and yet life is so tough for them...even if their health is good. Life was so much easier - in so many ways - when I was their age.
((hugs to you & your son))
