Good morning TT, Elphaba and everyone.

Pastries and espresso on hand as promised. Plenty for everyone and extra cups, too - but you'll have to make your own pretty, frothy swirls. :)

I was getting some batteries on to charge for vaping. You know, I use mainly duel coil cartos but every once in a while will pick up one of those old white plastic 510's - the kind that have to be filled with a syringe and will use it. That particular carto, the 510 is what I've always judged all other carts against. They simply produce lots of vapor and good flavor.

Anyhow, I normally use them with one of the old stick type batteries and an adapter. Some of those stick 808's I've had for over a year now and their still going strong. Pretty amazing!

Well Elphaba, I am sooo delighted to see you stopping by here. You've made my day! Pokey, Elphaba hangs out at our old jooce site and she's a charming redhead from Australia. All of us who know her just love her and she has a great sense of humor. Even puts me in my place from time to time.

And Elphaba, Pokey is a nurse (we have a lot of them on here) and is a delightful lady too. I feel so fortunate to have all these super neat people right here. techno already knows Elphaba so no introductions is necessary there.

Glad your here Elphaba!!!

Pleased to meet you, Elphaba!

I am a delightful lady, first; vaper, second; nurse comes in way low at the bottom of the list, lol.

Thanks for the lovely introduction, TT!

I still have several of my original "little" PVs - I pull them out now and again for old times sake. Some of them are are 18 months old and still working like day one. But that could because they've not seen much use in the last 8 or 9 months.

It's still reassuring that they work, though! :)

You know Pokey, a year and a half ago was actually back in the pioneering days of vaping. Isn't it amazing how this thing has changed ... like my Phidias, the Buzz, big GoGo batteries, good duel coil cartos, Liquinators ... it just goes on and on.

On that subject ... hey DeXTeR, have you ever ordered the stainless steel duel coils? I need 'em for the Liquinators.

LOL, your right Pokey!

I got confused with some of it back then and bought so danged much stuff that was nearly worthless to me or didn't produce the results I expected.

But now, on the other hand, it has got more complicated in a lot of ways and it becomes evident real quick when you start looking at everything that's available.

I venture over to the New Members on occasion - to see if I can impart some words of encouragement or wisdom to our newest members here at the forum.

Most of the time I have to remain silent, though. I haven't a clue what they are talking about - so much has advanced so far, so many different names, different devices...

I feel more like a newbie than some of the newbies, themselves, over there. As much as I try, there's just no keeping up with it all. :)

CNN was just showing storm surges from the hurricane and possible areas of flooding in Manhattan and New Jersey. And the hurricane watch extends down the South Carolina coast. I guess all this is expected to really hit Saturday morning.

I'm like you. My heart goes out to all those people. There could be an awful lot without power or utilities.
