Hi Techno: I am just now finding the time to get back to the forum.....hubs has kept me busy all day. When I finally got everything done.....he had the nerve to ask me to make cookies. I found a recipe a couple of years ago for date/oatmeal cookies, and now he thinks I should make them every other day....so I said, "you mix and I'll bake. So that is what we did late this afternoon. Then son and grandaughter came for dinner. Cleaned it all up....and now I am POOPED! I see you have been cleaning today also.

Well, looks like no one around right now...I will come back. I am gonna go get current details on Irene--last I heard, a million people without power, 5 dead, and lots of wind and flooding.

Yes, I've been cleaning, but you'd never know it. I kept getting distracted...You know..the vacuum quit, so I had to take it apart & fix it...then the dog had "an accident" on the carpet, and I had to go dig out the carpet cleaner...One thing after another! I'm expecting company this week, so tomorrow I have to clear the dust bunnies from the guest room.
I really should have been a princess with maids I think. I'm far too delicate for all this work.

I am so happy when I visit a woman who's house is messier than my own. I instant like her & feel like we'll be friends forever... I haven't had a truly clean house since I was a single girl over 25 years ago!

I had bulked up this past winter just knowing they would call me this year to play for them ...

but they've never called.

Now I'm stuck with this bulk.

New England hasn't even called me.
