Yes in Wisconsin I can say Walgreens no longer exist for us. It is sad because I loved Walgreen's. Our insurance company told us Walgreen's would not budge in lowering their prices...thus no longer a contracted pharmacy. I use to drop off the scripts and go shopping. I would come back and they always had it ready. I would only have to wait 10 minutes if I went into the store.

You know, my experience has been that Walgreens is always slightly higher on the scripts so that could be true. The closest Walgreens to me has an incompetent staff so I never go there anyway.

I'm just taking a quick break from my house-cleaning chores... and wanted to see what everybody was up to.

I hate I am missing the rousing conversations going on here, LOL!!

Tg was it you that started cleaning house this morning ?

Well... it was morning to me... around 1pm. I did have to run an errand, though, so haven't been cleaning the whole time. But, I've spent so much time here, with my pals, that I've let the housework fall behind.

I agree. In Bummy's case it sounds like the staff rather than the actual store.

OK here's the whole long story:

Yea but the part that frizzed me off was that I am already in their system that took 4 hours of standing around while the called every body and their brother 6 months ago. So when the Winn-Dixie didn't have it and it was for my eye surgery so If I didn't get it that day I might have not been able to get the surgery. uhh,, where was I,, Oh yea,, The 1st lady I went to took the Rx an my card and looked it all up on the computer. I asked to make sure they had it in stock because the other one didn't. So she said they had it and it would be ready in about 45 min.s.... I walked around the store for an hour and went and sat down. Then this other lady called me up to pick it up. I thought. No, she wanted to see my card. and started asking questions. I said,
"what's going on? I thought you were calling me up to pick it up". She said "Pick it up? you haven't even given me a chance yet". "A Chance? Hell No!!! That lady over there already ran the card and said it would be ready in 45 min.s and now it been an hour and you want to start all over?"
"Well 1st we have to get you into our system, do you have your ins. card?". No I don't, she has it!. Look the last time I came here it took 4 hours to get my stuff. Are you telling me we are going to do that all over again?" Sir you just need to calm down,, she said,,, WHAT? gimme my Card and prescription back I'll never darken your door again. "Sir you can't have the Rx back we have already started processing it". I said rather loudly "BULL S***!". Sir if you don't calm down I will be forced to call the police". I said "And if you don't give me my SH** back right now you will need to be calling an ambulance too, because I'm coming over this counter and I will get it if I have to go through you to get it!". The manager comes up and as he came up to me one of the girls that was just standing there gave him my card and the Rx. He handed them to me and said "Sorry sir, have a nice day". I said nicely to him. Thank you. and left.
