Good Morning Everybody and thank you for the most recent congrat's!
I guess I'm going to have to go to the gazebo up there in town and give another speech today. I'll run by the Quick Stop first though and Scotch Tape a note to the front door and let everybody know about the speech. Guess I'd better put a note on the Coffee
shop, Feed Store and Hardware Store doors too. I doubt if many of those people up in town know what a GURU is, but they'll be all excited anyhow.
And for everyone's edification here, this is the definition of guru ...
- spiritual guide
- a teacher and especially intellectual guide in matters of fundamental concern
- one who is an acknowledged leader or chief proponent
- a person with knowledge or expertise : expert
Yep, that would be me alright!
I'm going to have to make that a part of my speech so those folks up in town all know what a guru is and how important I am around this part of the country. I might have to see if my wife will stitch "Guru" over the shirt pocket of my shirt. I've noticed that a lot of other important people have something stitched over their shirt pocket like the guy that runs Whatsthatburger and the lady at the laundrymat. I've always wanted to have something sewn over my shirt pocket like that.
Out on the front porch, its supposed to get up to 75 today with a 30% chance of rain and 80 degrees tomorrow. We should have about
three months of nice, spring weather before it gets real terribly hot and humid. And hopefully, we'll have a lot of rain too.
